ὅτι οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψεις τὴν ψυχήν μου εἰς ⸀ᾅδην, οὐδὲ δώσεις τὸν ὅσιόν σου ἰδεῖν διαφθοράν.

quoniam non derelinques animam meam in inferno neque dabis Sanctum tuum videre corruptionem

Because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption.

BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT ABANDON MY SOUL TO HADES, NOR ALLOW YOUR HOLY ONE TO UNDERGO DECAY.

because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, you will not let your holy one see decay.

For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption:

For Thou wilt not leave me in the Unseen World forsaken, nor give up Thy holy One to undergo decay.

because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

When I die, you will not leave me in Hades, the place for dead people. You will not let anything destroy the body of your Holy One.

You will not leave my soul in death. You will not allow Your Holy One to be destroyed.

You will not abandon me to experience the suffering of a miserable afterlife, nor leave Your Holy One to rot alone.

‘You will not leave my soul in hell or let the body of your Holy Son decay.

Because You will not forsake my soul to Hades, Nor give Your Holy One over to see corruption.

For You will not abandon my soul, leaving it helpless in Hades (the state of departed spirits), nor let Your Holy One know decay or see destruction [of the body after death].

because you will not leave me in the grave. You will not let your Holy One rot.

“Fellow Israelites, listen carefully to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man thoroughly accredited by God to you—the miracles and wonders and signs that God did through him are common knowledge—this Jesus, following the deliberate and well-thought-out plan of God, was betrayed by men who took the law into their own hands, and was handed over to you. And you pinned him to a cross and killed him. But God untied the death ropes and raised him up. Death was no match for him. David said it all: I saw God before me for all time. The Lord won't leave me in the grave. I am his holy one, and he won't let my body decay.

That made my heart very happy. It made my tongue sing for joy. And even my body also will rest in peace because you will not leave my body in the grave. You will not let your Holy One die and be spoiled.
