ἐν τούτῳ ⸀καὶ αὐτὸς ἀσκῶ ἀπρόσκοπον συνείδησιν ⸀ἔχειν πρὸς τὸν θεὸν καὶ τοὺς ἀνθρώπους διὰ παντός.

in hoc et ipse studeo sine offendiculo conscientiam habere ad Deum et ad homines semper

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offense toward God, and toward men.

And in this do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.

I have the same hope in God which they themselves hold, that there is to be a resurrection of both good men and bad. With this hope before me I do my utmost to live my whole life with a clear conscience before God and man.
