And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

This I say, that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.
But I say this: Let no man deceive you with persuasiveness of words.

Now this I say, that no man may deceive you by loftiness of words.
This I say, that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.
I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments.
I say this so that no one will mislead you with arguments that merely sound good.
I am saying this so that no one will deceive you with persuasive arguments.
I say this so that no one will mislead you with nice-sounding rhetoric.
I say this so that no one will deceive you through arguments that sound reasonable.
I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument.
I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.
I am telling you this so no one will deceive you with well-crafted arguments.
And this I say, lest any man should deceive you with enticing words.
I say this to prevent your being misled by any one's plausible sophistry.
Now this I say that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.
I am telling you these things so that false teachers will not deceive you. They may teach ideas that seem good, but do not listen to them.
and this I say, that no one may beguile you in enticing words,
I tell you this so no one will try to change your mind with big sounding talk.
And this I say so that no one should deceive you with persuasive words.
I only tell you this to warn you about those who would try and deceive you with their arguments. They seem plausible enough; but in the end, they are false.
I am saying this because I am afraid that someone may fool you with smooth talk.
I am telling you all this so that no one may deceive you with deceptive arguments.
I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument.
And this I say lest anyone should beguile you with enticing words.
I am saying this so that no one will deceive you with arguments that sound reasonable.
I say this in order that no one may mislead and delude you by plausible and persuasive and attractive arguments and beguiling speech.
I say this so that no one can fool you by arguments that seem good, but are false.
I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God’s great mystery. All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and nowhere else. And we’ve been shown the mystery! I’m telling you this because I don’t want anyone leading you off on some wild-goose chase, after other so-called mysteries, or “the Secret.”
I say this so that no one deceives you with persuasive speech that sounds reasonable.
I am telling you this so that no one may deceive you with specious arguments.
I am saying this so that no one may deceive you with plausible arguments.
And I say, for fear that someone should beguile you with enticing words
I tell you, then, do not let anyone deceive you with false arguments, no matter how good they seem to be.
For this thing I say, that no man deceive you in height of words.
I’m saying this so that nobody will deceive you with plausible words.
I tell you these things to keep you from being fooled by fancy talk.
I say this in order that no one may delude you with beguiling speech.
I write this to prevent you from being led astray by someone or other’s attractive arguments. For though I am a long way away from you in body, in spirit I am by your side, watching like a proud father the solid steadfastness of your faith in Christ. Just as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so go on living in him—in simple faith. Grow out of him as a plant grows out of the soil it is planted in, becoming more and more sure of the faith as you were taught it, and your lives will overflow with joy and thankfulness.

But I don’t want anyone to fool you with words that only sound good.
And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
I say this so that no one will fool you with plausible but specious arguments.
I say this so that no one may lead you the wrong way by their fine words.
I am saying this so that no one may deceive you with plausible arguments.
This I say so that no one may delude you with the sleight of hand of the ba’al melitzot (rhetorician).
