quod si extra disciplinam estis cuius participes facti sunt omnes ergo adulteri et non filii estis
But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are you bastards, and not sons.
But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are you bastards, and not sons.
But if you be without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are you illegitimate children, and not sons.
But if you be without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are you illegitimate children, and not sons.
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all arepartakers, then ye are bastards and not sons.
But if ye are without chastening, whereof all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
But if ye are without chastening, whereof all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
And if you are without the discipline by which every person is disciplined, you are strangers and not children.
And if you are without the discipline by which every person is disciplined, you are strangers and not children.
But if ye are without chastening, of which all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
But if ye are without chastening, of which all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are made partakers, then are you bastards, and not sons.
But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are made partakers, then are you bastards, and not sons.
But if ye are without chastening, whereof all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
But if ye are without chastening, whereof all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
If you aren't disciplined like the other children, you aren't part of the family.
If you aren't disciplined like the other children, you aren't part of the family.
But if you are without discipline--which all receive--then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
But if you are without discipline--which all receive--then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
Now if you are without any discipline, in which all sons share, then you are illegitimate and not God's sons.
Now if you are without any discipline, in which all sons share, then you are illegitimate and not God's sons.
But if you do not experience discipline, something all sons have shared in, then you are illegitimate and are not sons.
But if you do not experience discipline, something all sons have shared in, then you are illegitimate and are not sons.
But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
If you are not disciplined--and everyone undergoes discipline--then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.
If you are not disciplined--and everyone undergoes discipline--then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.
If God doesn't discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.
If God doesn't discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.
But if ye are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are ye bastards and not sons.
But if ye are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are ye bastards and not sons.
And if you are left without discipline, of which every true son has had a share, that shows that you are bastards, and not true sons.
And if you are left without discipline, of which every true son has had a share, that shows that you are bastards, and not true sons.
But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not children.
But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not children.
God teaches all his children not to do wrong things. So if he does not punish you, it shows that you are not really his children. Instead, you are like children who do not really belong to him.
and if ye are apart from chastening, of which all have become partakers, then bastards are ye, and not sons.
If you are not punished as all sons are, it means that you are not a true son of God. You are not a part of His family and He is not your Father.
Therefore, if you are without correction - of which all are partakers - then you are bastards, and not sons.
But if you are not experiencing the correction that all true children receive, then it may be that you are not His children after all.
If God doesn’t punish you when you need it, as other fathers punish their sons, then it means that you aren’t really God’s son at all—that you don’t really belong in his family.
If you have not received the discipline in which all share, then you are illegitimate and not true sons.
But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
But if ye are without chastisement, of which all the sons are partakers, then ye are bastards, and not sons.
But if you are without discipline—which all receive—then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all].
If you are never disciplined (and every child must be disciplined), you are not true children.
In this all-out match against sin, others have suffered far worse than you, to say nothing of what Jesus went through—all that bloodshed! So don’t feel sorry for yourselves. Or have you forgotten how good parents treat children, and that God regards you as his children? My dear child, don’t shrug off God’s discipline, but don’t be crushed by it either. It’s the child he loves that he disciplines; the child he embraces, he also corrects. God is educating you; that’s why you must never drop out. He’s treating you as dear children. This trouble you’re in isn’t punishment; it’s training, the normal experience of children. Only irresponsible parents leave children to fend for themselves. Would you prefer an irresponsible God? We respect our own parents for training and not spoiling us, so why not embrace God’s training so we can truly live? While we were children, our parents did what seemed best to them. But God is doing what is best for us, training us to live God’s holy best. At the time, discipline isn’t much fun. It always feels like it’s going against the grain. Later, of course, it pays off big-time, for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.
If you are not disciplined (and all of us have received it), then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
But if you are left without discipline, in which all sons share, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
If you do not have that discipline in which all children share, then you are illegitimate and not his children.
If you are not under correction (of which all are partakers), then you are baseborn, and not sons.
If you are not punished, as all his children are, it means you are not real children, but bastards.
That if ye be out of chastising, whose partners be ye all made [That if ye be out of discipline, of which all be made partners], then ye be adulterers, and not sons.
If you are left without discipline (we’ve all had our fair share of it!), you are illegitimate, and not true children.
God corrects all his children, and if he doesn't correct you, then you don't really belong to him.
If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
Bear what you have to bear as “chastening”—as God’s dealing with you as sons. No true son ever grows up uncorrected by his father. For if you had no experience of the correction which all sons have to bear you might well doubt the legitimacy of your sonship. After all, when we were children we had fathers who corrected us, and we respected them for it. Can we not much more readily submit to a heavenly Father’s discipline, and learn how to live?
If you do not have that discipline in which all children share, then you are illegitimate and not his children.
If you do not have that discipline in which all children share, then you are illegitimate and not his children.
But if you don’t experience discipline, which happens to all children, then you are illegitimate and not real sons and daughters.
Now if you are exempt from correction and without discipline, in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate children and not sons [at all].
If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
If you are without discipline, in which all have shared, you are not sons but bastards.
But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
If you are never disciplined (and every ·child [or son] must be disciplined), you are ·not true children [L illegitimate and not (true) children/sons].
But if you are without discipline—something all have come to share—then you are illegitimate and not sons.
If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
God trains all his children. But what if he doesn’t train you? Then you are not really his children. You are not God’s true sons and daughters at all.
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
All legitimate sons undergo discipline; so if you don’t, you’re a mamzer and not a son!
You are punished like the other children in the family. If you are not, you do not belong to the family as the other children do.
If you do not have that discipline in which all children share, then you are illegitimate and not his children.
But if you are without musar, in which all the yeladim share, then you are not banim but mamzerim.
If you aren’t disciplined like the other children, you aren’t part of the family.
If you are without discipline, of which everyone has partaken, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
So, if you never receive the discipline that every child must have, you are not true children and don’t really belong to God.
If you are never punished (and every son must be punished), you are not true children and not really sons.
But if you are without discipline, in which all legitimate sons have become participants, then you are illegitimate and not sons.
If you are not disciplined – and everyone undergoes discipline – then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.
But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
