But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
But every man is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed.
but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.
But each man is tempted from his own desire, and he lusts and he is seduced.
But every one is tempted, drawn away, and enticed by his own lust;
But every man is tempted by his own concupiscence, being drawn away and allured.

Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.
But when a man is tempted, it is his own passions that carry him away and serve as a bait.
But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.
It is our own thoughts that make us do bad things. When we want to do something wrong, our thoughts lead us in a bad way.
and each one is tempted, by his own desires being led away and enticed,

When a person is carried away with desire, lured by lust, and when desire becomes the focus and takes control, it gives birth to sin. When sin becomes fully grown, it produces death.
Temptation is the pull of man’s own evil thoughts and wishes.
Rather, temptation occurs when someone is attracted and seduced by his own desire.

But people are tempted when their own evil desire leads them away and traps them.
Don’t let anyone under pressure to give in to evil say, “God is trying to trip me up.” God is impervious to evil, and puts evil in no one’s way. The temptation to give in to evil comes from us and only us. We have no one to blame but the leering, seducing flare-up of our own lust. Lust gets pregnant, and has a baby: sin! Sin grows up to adulthood, and becomes a real killer.
But each person is tempted when he is dragged away and enticed by his own desire.

But each man is tempted, drawn and stirred of his own coveting. [Soothly each man is tempted of his own coveting, drawn from reason, and snared, or deceived.]

We are tempted by our own desires that drag us off and trap us.
but each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.
A man must not say when he is tempted, “God is tempting me.” For God has no dealings with evil, and does not himself tempt anyone. No, a man’s temptation is due to the pull of his own inward desires, which can be enormously attractive. His own desire takes hold of him, and that produces sin. And sin in the long run means death—make no mistake about that, brothers of mine!
