The Jews therefore said to him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.

So the Jews said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath, and it is not lawful for thee to take up thy bed.
So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed.”
So the Jews told the man who had been healed, "This is a day of worship. You're not allowed to carry your cot today."
so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, "This is the Sabbath! It's illegal for you to pick up your mat."
So the Jewish leaders told the man who had been healed, "It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.
So the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, "It is the Sabbath, and you are not permitted to carry your mat."
So the Jews were saying to the man who was cured, "It is the Sabbath, and it is not permissible for you to carry your pallet."
and so the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, "It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat."
so the Jewish leaders objected. They said to the man who was cured, "You can't work on the Sabbath! The law doesn't allow you to carry that sleeping mat!"
The Jews therefore said to him that was cured, it is the sabbath; it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
That day was a Sabbath. So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, "It is the Sabbath: you must not carry your mat."
So the Jews said to him who was cured, "It is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to carry the mat."
Because of this, the Jewish leaders spoke to the man that Jesus had made well. They said to him, ‘You must not carry your mat on our day of rest. You are not obeying the rules.’
the Jews then said to him that hath been healed, `It is a sabbath; it is not lawful to thee to take up the couch.'
The Jews said to the man who had been healed, “This is the Day of Rest. It is against the Law for you to carry your bed.”
Therefore, the Jews said to him who was made whole, “It is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
Jewish Leaders (to the man who had been healed): Must you be reminded that it is the Sabbath? You are not allowed to carry your mat today!
So the Jewish leaders objected. They said to the man who was cured, “You can’t work on the Sabbath! It’s illegal to carry that sleeping mat!”
Therefore, the Jews said to the man who had been cured, “Today is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to carry your mat.”
So the Jews were saying to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.”
The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day; it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
and so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “This is the Sabbath. The law prohibits you from picking up your mat.”
So the Jews kept saying to the man who had been healed, It is the Sabbath, and you have no right to pick up your bed [it is not lawful].
So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “Today is the Sabbath. It is against our law for you to carry your mat on the Sabbath day.”
Jesus said, “Get up, take your bedroll, start walking.” The man was healed on the spot. He picked up his bedroll and walked off. That day happened to be the Sabbath. The Jews stopped the healed man and said, “It’s the Sabbath. You can’t carry your bedroll around. It’s against the rules.”
So the Jews told the man who had been healed, “This is the Sabbath! You are not permitted to carry your mat.”
So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to carry · your mat.
So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, “It is the sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.”
The Jews therefore said to him who had been healed, It is the Sabbath day; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.
so the Jewish authorities told the man who had been healed, “This is a Sabbath, and it is against our Law for you to carry your mat.”
Therefore the Jews said to him that was made whole, It is sabbath, it is not leaveful to thee, to take away thy bed.
So the Judaeans confronted the man who had been healed. “It’s the sabbath!” they said. “You shouldn’t be carrying your mattress!”
When the Jewish leaders saw the man carrying his mat, they said to him, “This is the Sabbath! No one is allowed to carry a mat on the Sabbath.”
So the Jews said to the man who was cured, “It is the sabbath, it is not lawful for you to carry your pallet.”
This happened on a Sabbath day, which made the Jews keep on telling the man who had been healed, “It’s the Sabbath, you know; it’s not right for you to carry your bed.”
So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.”
So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, ‘It is the sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.’
The Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, “It’s the Sabbath; you aren’t allowed to carry your mat.”
So the Jews kept saying to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and you are not permitted to pick up your pallet [because it is unlawful].”
So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed.”
So the Jews said to the man who was cured, “It is the sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.”
So the Jews were saying to the man who was cured, “It is a Sabbath, and it is not permissible for you to carry your pallet.”
So the ·Jews [or Jewish leaders] said to the man who had been healed, “Today is the Sabbath. It is ·against our law [L not lawful/permitted] for you to carry your ·mat [bed; cot] on the Sabbath day [C the fourth commandment prohibited work on the Sabbath, but not specifically this action (Ex. 20:8–11)].”
so Judean leaders were saying to the man who was healed, “It’s Shabbat! It’s not permitted for you to carry your mat.”
So the Jews said to the man who was cured, “It is the sabbath, it is not lawful for you to carry your pallet.”
So the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath day. The law does not allow you to carry your mat.”
The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
so the Judeans said to the man who had been healed, “It’s Shabbat! It’s against Torah for you to carry your mat!”
So the leaders of the Jews talked to the man who was healed. They said, `It is the Sabbath day. It is not right for you to carry your bed.'
So the Jews said to the man who had been cured, ‘It is the sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.’
So those of Yehudah were saying to the one having been granted refu’ah (healing), It is Shabbos, so it is asur (prohibited), it is chillul Shabbos [desecration of Shabbat] for you to carry your mat. [NECHEMYAH 13:15 22; YIRMEYAH 17:21]
So the Jews told the man who had been healed, “This is a day of worship. You’re not allowed to carry your cot today.”
The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath day. It is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
So some Jews said to the man who had been healed, “Today is the Sabbath. It is against our law for you to carry your mat on the Sabbath day.”
So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “Today is the Sabbath. It is against our law for you to carry your mat on the Sabbath day.”
So the Jews were saying to the one who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not permitted for you to pick up the mat!”
and so the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, ‘It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.’
So the Jews were saying to the one having been cured, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to pick up your cot”.
