⸀Ἀπεκρίθησαν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ· Οὐ καλῶς λέγομεν ἡμεῖς ὅτι Σαμαρίτης εἶ σὺ καὶ δαιμόνιον ἔχεις;

rApekrithesan oi Ioudaioi kai eipan auto* Ou kalos legomen emeis oti Samarites ei su kai daimonion ekheis;

responderunt igitur Iudaei et dixerunt ei nonne bene dicimus nos quia Samaritanus es tu et daemonium habes

Then answered the Jews, and said to him, Say we not well that you are a Samaritan, and have a devil?

Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?

Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

Then the Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

Then the Jews answered and said unto Him, “Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan and hast a devil?”

The Jews answered and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a demon?

The Jews answered and they were saying to him, “Are we not saying correctly that you are a Samaritan and have a demon in you?”

The Jews answered and said to him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan and hast a demon?

The Jews therefore answered, and said to him: Do not we say well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

The Jews answered and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews replied to Jesus, "Aren't we right when we say that you're a Samaritan and that you're possessed by a demon?"

The Jews responded to Him, "Aren't we right in saying that You're a Samaritan and have a demon?"

The Jewish leaders replied to him, "Surely we're right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon, aren't we?"

The Judeans replied, "Aren't we correct in saying that you are a Samaritan and are possessed by a demon?"

The Jews answered and said to Him, "Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?"

The Jews answered him, "Aren't we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?"

The people retorted, "You Samaritan devil! Didn't we say all along that you were possessed by a demon?"

Then answered the Jews, and said to him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a demon?

"Are we not right," answered the Jews, "in saying that you are a Samaritan and are possessed by a demon?"

Then the Jews answered him, "Don't we say well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?"

The Jews answered him, ‘What we say about you is right! You are from Samaria and you have a demon in you!’

The Jews, therefore, answered and said to him, `Do we not say well, that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a demon?'

The Jews said to Jesus, “Are we not right when we say You are from the country of Samaria, and You have a demon?”

Then the Jews answered, and said to Him, “Are we not correct in saying that You are a Samaritan, and have a demon?”

Jews: We were right when we called You a demon-possessed Samaritan.

“You Samaritan! Foreigner! Devil!” the Jewish leaders snarled. “Didn’t we say all along you were possessed by a demon?”

The Jews answered, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and are possessed?”

The Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

Then the Jews answered, and said unto him, Do we not say well that thou art a Samaritan and hast a demon?

The Jews responded to him, “Aren’t we right in saying that you’re a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews answered Him, Are we not right when we say You are a Samaritan and that You have a demon [that You are under the power of an evil spirit]?

They answered, “We say you are a Samaritan and have a demon in you. Are we not right?”

The Jews then said, “That settles it. We were right all along when we called you a Samaritan and said you were crazy—demon-possessed!”

The Jews responded, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews answered · him, saying, “Are we not correct in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

Then the Jews answered and said to him, Are we not right to say that you are a Samaritan and have a devil?

They asked Jesus, “Were we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon in you?”

Therefore the Jews answered, and said [to him], Whether we say not well, that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

This was the Judaeans’ response to Jesus. “Haven’t we been right all along,” they said, “in saying you’re a Samaritan, and that you’ve got a demon inside you?”

The people told Jesus, “We were right to say that you are a Samaritan and that you have a demon in you!”

The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

“How right we are,” retorted the Jews, “in calling you a Samaritan, and mad at that!”

The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews answered him, ‘Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?’

The Jewish opposition answered, “We were right to say that you are a Samaritan and have a demon, weren’t we?”

The Jews answered Him, “Are we not right when we say You are a Samaritan and [that You] have a demon [and are under its power]?”

The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews answered and said to him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and are possessed?”

The Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not rightly say that You are a Samaritan, and You have a demon?”

·They [The Jewish leaders; L The Jews] answered, “We say you are a Samaritan [C a people disliked by the Jews; 4:4, 9] and ·have a demon in you [are demon-possessed]. Are we not right?”

The Judean leaders responded, “Aren’t we right to say you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews answered Jesus, “Aren’t we right when we say you are a Samaritan? Aren’t you controlled by a demon?”

Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

The Judeans answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying you are from Shomron and have a demon?”

The leaders of the Jews answered him, `We say what is true. We say that you come from Samaria. And we say that a bad spirit is in you.'

The Jews answered him, ‘Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?’

In reply, those of Yehudah said to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, Did we not rightly say that you are a Shomroni (Samaritan) and that you have a shed (demon)?

The Jews replied to Yeshua, “Aren’t we right when we say that you’re a Samaritan and that you’re possessed by a demon?”

The Jews answered Him, “Do we not rightly say that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews there answered, “We say you are a Samaritan. We say a demon is making you crazy! Are we not right when we say this?”

The Jews answered, “We say you are a Samaritan! We say a demon has come into you. Are we not right?”

The Jews answered and said to him, “Do we not correctly say that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

The Jews answered him, ‘Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?’

The Jews responded and said to Him, “Do we not rightly say that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?”
