This is why his parents said, "He's of age; ask him."

because of this his parents said -- `He is of age, ask him.'

So they deferred the thorny question to their son,
They said this in fear of the Jewish leaders who had announced that anyone saying Jesus was the Messiah would be excommunicated.
This is why his parents said, “He is of age. Ask him.”
For this reason his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.”
Therefore his parents said, He is of age, ask him.
This is why his parents said, “He’s of age; ask him.”
On that account his parents said, He is of age; ask him.
That is why his parents said, “He is old enough. Ask him.”
His parents said, “We know he is our son, and we know he was born blind. But we don’t know how he came to see—haven’t a clue about who opened his eyes. Why don’t you ask him? He’s a grown man and can speak for himself.” (His parents were talking like this because they were intimidated by the Jewish leaders, who had already decided that anyone who took a stand that this was the Messiah would be kicked out of the meeting place. That’s why his parents said, “Ask him. He’s a grown man.”)
That is why his parents said, “He is old enough. Ask him.”
For this reason · his parents said, “He is an adult, ask him.”
Therefore his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.”
Therefore his father and mother said, He is old enough; ask him.
That is why his parents said, “He is old enough; ask him!”
Therefore his father and mother said, That he hath age, ask ye him.
That’s why his parents said, “He’s grown up, so you should ask him.”
The man's parents said this because they were afraid of their leaders. The leaders had already agreed that no one was to have anything to do with anyone who said Jesus was the Messiah.
Therefore his parents said, “He is of age, ask him.”
His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews who had already agreed that anybody who admitted that Christ had done this thing should be excommunicated. It was this fear which made his parents say, “Ask him, he is a grown-up man.”
Therefore his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.”
Therefore his parents said, ‘He is of age; ask him.’
That’s why his parents said, “He’s old enough. Ask him.”
Because of this his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.”

Therefore, his horim said, He has reached his religious majority and is of age. Interrogate him.
