"Now Lord, You are releasing Your bond-servant to depart in peace, According to Your word;
"Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace.
"Sovereign Lord, now let your servant die in peace, as you have promised.
Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
"Now, O Sovereign Lord, Thou dost send Thy servant away in peace, in fulfilment of Thy word,
"Now you are releasing your servant, Master, according to your word, in peace;
‘Master, I am your servant. You have done what you promised to me. Now I can die with no trouble in my mind.
`Now Thou dost send away Thy servant, Lord, according to Thy word, in peace,
“Lord, now let me die in peace, as You have said.
“Lord, now let Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word!
Simeon: Now, Lord and King, You can let me, Your humble servant, die in peace.
“Lord,” he said, “now I can die content! For I have seen him as you promised me I would. I have seen the Savior you have given to the world.
“Now, Lord, you may dismiss your servant in peace, according to your word;
“Now Master, You are releasing Your slave in peace, According to Your word.
Lord, now let thy slave depart in peace, according to thy word,
Now, Master, you can dismiss your servant in peace, as you promised.
And now, Lord, You are releasing Your servant to depart (leave this world) in peace, according to Your word.
“Now, Lord, you can let me, your servant, die in peace as you said.
In Jerusalem at the time, there was a man, Simeon by name, a good man, a man who lived in the prayerful expectancy of help for Israel. And the Holy Spirit was on him. The Holy Spirit had shown him that he would see the Messiah of God before he died. Led by the Spirit, he entered the Temple. As the parents of the child Jesus brought him in to carry out the rituals of the Law, Simeon took him into his arms and blessed God: God, you can now release your servant; release me in peace as you promised. With my own eyes I’ve seen your salvation; it’s now out in the open for everyone to see: A God-revealing light to the non-Jewish nations, and of glory for your people Israel.
Lord, you now dismiss your servant in peace, according to your word,

Lord, now let your servant depart in peace according to your promise.
“Now, Lord, you have kept your promise, and you may let your servant go in peace.
Lord, now thou lettest go thy servant after thy word in peace; [Lord, now thy leavest thy servant after thy word in peace;]
“Now, Master, you are dismissing your servant in peace, just as you said.
“Lord, I am your servant, and now I can die in peace, because you have kept your promise to me.
“Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word;
In Jerusalem was a man by the name of Simeon. He was an upright man, devoted to the service of God, living in expectation of the “salvation of Israel”. His heart was open to the Holy Spirit, and it had been revealed to him that he would not die before he saw the Lord’s Christ. He had been led by the Spirit to go into the Temple, and when Jesus’ parents brought the child in to have done to him what the Law required, he took him up in his arms, blessed God, and said—“At last, Lord, you can dismiss your servant in peace, as you promised! For with my own eyes I have seen your salvation which you have made ready for every people—a light to show truth to the Gentiles and bring glory to your people Israel.”

“Now, Lord, You are releasing Your bond-servant to leave [this world] in peace, According to Your word;

“Now, Lord, You are letting Your bond-servant depart in peace, According to Your word;

“Now may You let Your servant go in peace, O Sovereign Master, according to Your word.
“Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word;
“Lord, you are the King over all. Now let me, your servant, go in peace. That is what you promised.

“Now, Adonai, according to your word, your servant is at peace as you let him go;
He said, `Lord, now you are letting your servant go in peace, just as you said.
‘Master, now you are dismissing your servant in peace, according to your word;
And now, Adonoi, dismiss Your eved in shalom, according to Your dvar (word);
“Now, Lord, you are allowing your servant to leave in peace as you promised.
“Lord, now let Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word;
“Now, Lord, you can let me, your servant, die in peace as you said.
“Now, Lord, you can let me, your servant, die in peace as you said.
“Now dismiss your slave in peace, Lord, according to your word.
‘Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace.
“Now You are releasing Your slave in peace in accordance with Your word, Master,
