καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Τί καθεύδετε; ἀναστάντες προσεύχεσθε, ἵνα μὴ εἰσέλθητε εἰς πειρασμόν.

kai eipen autois* Ti katheudete; anastantes proseukhesthe, ina me eiselthete eis peirasmon.

et ait illis quid dormitis surgite orate ne intretis in temptationem

And said to them, Why sleep you? rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.

Then He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.”

"Why are you sleeping?" He asked them. "Get up and pray, so that you won't enter into temptation."

"Why are you sleeping?" He said; "stand up; and pray that you may not come into temptation."

‘You should not be sleeping,’ he said. ‘Get up and pray! Ask God to help you, so that you do not want to do wrong things.’

and he said to them, `Why do ye sleep? having risen, pray that ye may not enter into temptation.'

He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you will not be tempted.”

And He said to them, “Why do you sleep?! Rise and pray, lest you enter into trial.”

He roused them. Jesus: Why are you sleeping? Wake up and pray that you will not sink into temptation.

“Asleep!” he said. “Get up! Pray God that you will not fall when you are tempted.”

He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

He got up from prayer, went back to the disciples and found them asleep, drugged by grief. He said, “What business do you have sleeping? Get up. Pray so you won’t give in to temptation.”

Jesus said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray ·for strength against temptation [that you won’t give in to temptation; or that you won’t be tempted/tested].”

And He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray, so that you won’t enter into temptation.”

and he said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

“Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up! Pray that you won’t fall into sin when you are tempted.”

And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

And Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach said to them, Why are you sleeping? Get up, daven, lest you enter lidey nisayon (into temptation).

He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up, and pray that you won’t be tempted.”
