et respondens Iesus ad eos dixit nec hoc legistis quod fecit David cum esurisset ipse et qui cum eo erant

And Jesus answering them said, Have you not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungered, and they which were with him;

And Jesus answering them said, "Have you not even read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him,

Jesus answered them, "Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Jesus replied, "Haven't you read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

And Jesus answering them, said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was hungry, and they who were with him;

"Have you never read so much as this," answered Jesus--"what David did when he and his followers were hungry;

Jesus, answering them, said, "Haven't you read what David did when he was hungry, he, and those who were with him;

Jesus replied, ‘You have certainly read about what David did one day. He and the men who were with him were hungry.

And Jesus answering said unto them, `Did ye not read even this that David did, when he hungered, himself and those who are with him,

Jesus answered them, “Have you not read what David did when he and his men were hungry?

Then Jesus answered them, and said, “Have you not read what David did when he himself, and those who were with him, were hungry?

Jesus: Speaking of the sacred law, haven’t you ever read about the time when David and his companions were hungry?

Jesus replied, “Don’t you read the Scriptures? Haven’t you ever read what King David did when he and his men were hungry?

Jesus answered them, “Have you not read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him,

And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when he and those that were with him were hungry,

Jesus answered them, “Haven’t you read what David and those who were with him did when he was hungry—

And Jesus replied to them, saying, Have you never so much as read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him?—

Jesus answered, “Have you not read what David did when he and those with him were hungry?

But Jesus stood up for them. “Have you never read what David and those with him did when they were hungry? How he entered the sanctuary and ate fresh bread off the altar, bread that no one but priests were allowed to eat? He also handed it out to his companions.”

Jesus answered them, “Haven’t you read what David did when he was hungry (he and his companions)?

How he went into the house of God, took the presentation loaves, ate some bread himself and gave some to his companions, even though the Law does not permit anyone except the priests to eat it?”

Jesus answered, “Have you not read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Jesus replied, “Haven’t you read what David and his companions did when they were hungry?

Then answering them, Yeshua said, “Haven’t you read what David did when he was hungry, and those with him?
