But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Then Jesus said, ‘What I tell you is true. Some people who are standing here will see clearly God begin to rule in his kingdom. They will see that before they die.’

and I say to you, truly, there are certain of those here standing, who shall not taste of death till they may see the reign of God.'

I tell you the truth, some standing here will not die until they see the holy nation of God.”

“And I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste of death till they have seen the Kingdom of God.”

Are you ready for this? I’m telling you the truth: some of you will not taste death until your eyes see the kingdom of God.

But this is the simple truth—some of you who are standing here right now will not die until you have seen the Kingdom of God.”

Then he told them what they could expect for themselves: “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat—I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What good would it do to get everything you want and lose you, the real you? If any of you is embarrassed with me and the way I’m leading you, know that the Son of Man will be far more embarrassed with you when he arrives in all his splendor in company with the Father and the holy angels. This isn’t, you realize, pie in the sky by and by. Some who have taken their stand right here are going to see it happen, see with their own eyes the kingdom of God.”

I am telling you the truth: There are some standing here who will certainly not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.”

But I tell you most certainly: There are some of those standing here who will certainly not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”

But truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”

And I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste of death till they see the kingdom of God.

I assure you that there are some here who will not die until they have seen the Kingdom of God.”

And I say to you, verily there be some standing here, which shall not taste death, till they see the realm of God.

“Let me tell you,” he concluded, “there are some standing here who won’t experience death until they see God’s kingdom.”

You can be sure some of the people standing here will not die before they see God's kingdom.

But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”

Then he spoke to them all. “If anyone wants to follow in my footsteps, he must give up all right to himself, carry his cross every day and keep close behind me. For the man who wants to save his life will lose it, but the man who loses his life for my sake will save it. For what is the use of a man gaining the whole world if he loses or forfeits his own soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him, when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and the holy angels. I tell you the simple truth—there are men standing here today who will not taste death until they have seen the kingdom of God!”

Indeed, truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”

I assure you that some standing here won’t die before they see God’s kingdom.”
