καὶ ἔρχεται καὶ εὑρίσκει αὐτοὺς καθεύδοντας, καὶ λέγει τῷ Πέτρῳ· Σίμων, καθεύδεις; οὐκ ἴσχυσας μίαν ὥραν γρηγορῆσαι;

kai erkhetai kai euriskei autous katheudontas, kai legei to Petro* Simon, katheudeis; ouk iskhusas mian oran gregoresai;

et venit et invenit eos dormientes et ait Petro Simon dormis non potuisti una hora vigilare

And he comes, and finds them sleeping, and said to Peter, Simon, sleep you? could not you watch one hour?

And he came, and found them sleeping, and said unto Peter, Simon, do you sleep? could you not watch one hour?

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

And he came and found them while they were sleeping and he said to Kaypha, “Shimeon, are you sleeping? Were you not able to watch one hour?”

And he comes and finds them sleeping. And he says to Peter, Simon, dost thou sleep? Hast thou not been able to watch one hour?

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping. And he saith to Peter: Simon, sleepest thou? couldst thou not watch one hour?

When he went back, he found his disciples asleep. "Simon, are you asleep?" he asked Peter. "You couldn't stay awake for one hour, could you?

Then he came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn't you stay awake for one hour?

And He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep watch for one hour?

Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Simon," he said to Peter, "are you asleep? Couldn't you keep watch for one hour?

Then he returned and found the disciples asleep. He said to Peter, "Simon, are you asleep? Couldn't you watch with me even one hour?

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith to Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldst not thou watch one hour?

Then He came and found them asleep, and He said to Peter, "Simon, are you asleep? Had you not strength to keep awake a single hour?

He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn't you watch one hour?

Jesus returned to his three disciples. Now they were sleeping. He said to Peter, ‘Simon, you are asleep! You could not stay awake for even one hour!

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith to Peter, `Simon, thou dost sleep! thou wast not able to watch one hour!

Then Jesus came to the followers and found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Were you not able to watch one hour?

Then He came, and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon! Asleep? Could you not watch one hour!?

He got up, went back to the three, and found them sleeping. Jesus (waking Peter): Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you wait with Me for just an hour?

Then he returned to the three disciples and found them asleep. “Simon!” he said. “Asleep? Couldn’t you watch with me even one hour?

Returning to the disciples, he found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep watch for one hour?

And He *came and *found them sleeping, and *said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not keep watch for one hour?

And he came and found them sleeping and said unto Peter: Simon, sleepest thou? Could thou not watch one hour?

Then he came and found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you stay awake one hour?

And He came back and found them sleeping, and He said to Peter, Simon, are you asleep? Have you not the strength to keep awake and watch [with Me for] one hour?

Then Jesus went back to his followers and found them asleep. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you stay awake with me for one hour?

He came back and found them sound asleep. He said to Peter, “Simon, you went to sleep on me? Can’t you stick it out with me a single hour? Stay alert, be in prayer, so you don’t enter the danger zone without even knowing it. Don’t be naive. Part of you is eager, ready for anything in God; but another part is as lazy as an old dog sleeping by the fire.”

When he returned to the disciples, he found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Were you not strong enough to keep watch for one hour?

Then he returned and found them sleeping. So he said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Were you not able to stay alert for one hour?”

He came and found them sleeping; and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep awake one hour?

And he came and found them sleeping and said to Peter, Simon, are you sleeping? Could not you watch with me one hour?

Then he returned and found the three disciples asleep. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Weren't you able to stay awake for even one hour?”

And he came, and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter [And he saith to Peter], Simon, sleepest thou? mightest thou not wake with me one hour?

He returned and found them sleeping. “Are you asleep, Simon?” he said to Peter. “Couldn’t you keep watch for a single hour?

When Jesus came back and found the disciples sleeping, he said to Simon Peter, “Are you asleep? Can't you stay awake for just one hour?

And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour?

Then he came and found them fast asleep. He spoke to Peter, “Are you asleep, Simon? Couldn’t you manage to watch for a single hour? Watch and pray, all of you, that you may not have to face temptation. Your spirit is willing, but human nature is weak.”

He came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep awake one hour?

Then Jesus went back to his ·followers [disciples] and found them asleep. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you ·stay awake [watch] with me for one hour?

Then He comes and finds them sleeping; and He tells Peter, “Simon, you’re asleep? Couldn’t you keep watch for one hour?

Then he went back to his followers and found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “Simon, why are you sleeping? Could you not stay awake with me for one hour?

Then Jesus went back to his followers. He found them asleep. He said to Peter, “Simon, why are you sleeping? You could not stay awake with me for one hour?
