Peter was still sitting outside in the yard. One of the young women who was a servant of the most important priest came there.

And Peter being in the hall beneath, there doth come one of the maids of the chief priest,

Peter was outside in the yard. One of the servant-girls of the head religious leader came.

And as Peter was beneath in the hall, one of the maids of the High Priest came.

While Peter was waiting by the fire outside, one of the servant girls of the high priest saw him. Servant Girl: You were one of those men with Jesus of Nazareth.

Meanwhile Peter was below in the courtyard. One of the maids who worked for the high priest noticed Peter warming himself at the fire. She looked at him closely and then announced, “You were with Jesus, the Nazarene.”

While Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the high priest’s servant girls came by.

And as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant-girls of the high priest *came,

And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there came one of the maids of the high priest;

While Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the high priest’s maidservants came.

While Peter was down below in the courtyard, one of the [serving] maids of the high priest came;

While Peter was in the courtyard, a servant girl of the high priest came there.

While all this was going on, Peter was down in the courtyard. One of the Chief Priest’s servant girls came in and, seeing Peter warming himself there, looked hard at him and said, “You were with the Nazarene, Jesus.”

While Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the servant girls of the high priest came there.

In the meantime, while Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the High Priest’s maids came and saw him warming himself. She looked closely at him, and said, “You were with the Nazarene too—with Jesus!”

Meanwhile, Peter was below in the courtyard. A woman, one of the high priest’s servants, approached
