Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains,
who had his dwelling among the tombs. And no man could bind him, no, not even with chains,
who had his dwelling in the tombs: and no man could any more bind him, no, not with a chain;
And he dwelt among the tombs and no one was able to bind him with chains,
who had his dwelling in the tombs; and no one was able to bind him, not even with chains;
Who had his dwelling in the tombs, and no man now could bind him, not even with chains.
who had his dwelling in the tombs: and no man could any more bind him, no, not with a chain;
He lived among the tombs. And no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain,
and lived among the tombs. No one could restrain him any longer, not even with a chain.
He lived in the tombs. No one was able to restrain him anymore--even with chains--
He lived among the tombs, and no one could restrain him any longer, not even with a chain.
He lived among the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain.
and he had his dwelling among the tombs. And no one was able to bind him anymore, even with a chain;
This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain.
This man lived among the burial caves and could no longer be restrained, even with a chain.
Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
This man lived among the tombs, nor could any one now secure him even with a chain;
He lived in the tombs. Nobody could bind him any more, not even with chains,
Jesus got out of the boat. Immediately, a man with a bad spirit in him came to him. This man lived outside, among some graves. He was very strong and nobody could hold him. People often put chains around his ankles to hold him. They wanted to keep him in a safe place. But he broke the chains that held him.
who had his dwelling in the tombs, and not even with chains was any one able to bind him,
He lived among the graves. No man could tie him, even with chains.
He dwelt among the graves. And no one could bind him, not even with chains.
When Jesus came ashore there, He was immediately met by a man who was tortured by an evil spirit. This man lived in the cemeteries, and no one could control him—not even those who tried to tie him up or chain him.
This man lived among the gravestones and had such strength that whenever he was put into handcuffs and shackles—as he often was—he snapped the handcuffs from his wrists and smashed the shackles and walked away. No one was strong enough to control him.
The man had been living in the tombs, and no one could restrain him any longer, not even with chains.

who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, no, not with chains,

This man lived in the caves, and no one could tie him up, not even with a chain.
They arrived on the other side of the sea in the country of the Gerasenes. As Jesus got out of the boat, a madman from the cemetery came up to him. He lived there among the tombs and graves. No one could restrain him—he couldn’t be chained, couldn’t be tied down. He had been tied up many times with chains and ropes, but he broke the chains, snapped the ropes. No one was strong enough to tame him. Night and day he roamed through the graves and the hills, screaming out and slashing himself with sharp stones.
The man lived in the tombs. Nobody could bind him anymore, not even with a chain.
He had his dwelling among the tombs, and no one could bind him any longer, not even with a chain.

He was emerging from a graveyard, which was where he lived. Nobody had been able to tie him up, not even with a chain;
from the graveyard where he had been living. No one was able to tie the man up anymore, not even with a chain.
who lived among the tombs; and no one could bind him any more, even with a chain;
So they arrived on the other side of the lake in the country of the Gerasenes. As Jesus was getting out of the boat, a man in the grip of an evil spirit rushed to meet him from among the tombs where he was living. It was no longer possible for any human being to restrain him even with a chain. Indeed he had frequently been secured with fetters and lengths of chain, but he had simply snapped the chains and broken the fetters in pieces. No one could do anything with him. All through the night as well as in the day-time he screamed among the tombs and on the hill-side, and cut himself with stones. Now, as soon as he saw Jesus in the distance, he ran and knelt before him, yelling at the top of his voice, “What have you got to do with me, Jesus, Son of the most high God? For God’s sake, don’t torture me!”
He lived among the tombs, and no one could restrain him any more, even with a chain,
