Then he made a promise to her, “Whatever you ask for, I will give it to you. I will give you even half of my nation.”

Then Herodias’s daughter came in and danced before them and greatly pleased them all. “Ask me for anything you like,” the king vowed, “even half of my kingdom, and I will give it to you!”

And he solemnly swore to her, “Whatever you ask I will give you, even half of my kingdom.”

But a portentous day arrived when Herod threw a birthday party, inviting all the brass and bluebloods in Galilee. Herodias’s daughter entered the banquet hall and danced for the guests. She charmed Herod and the guests. The king said to the girl, “Ask me anything. I’ll give you anything you want.” Carried away, he kept on, “I swear, I’ll split my kingdom with you if you say so!”

With an oath he promised her, “Whatever you ask of me, I will give you, up to half of my kingdom.”

And he promised her insistently with an oath, “Whatever you ask for, I will give it to you, up to half of my kingdom.”

And he solemnly swore to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, even half of my kingdom.”

And he swore to her, Whatever you ask of me, I will give it to you, even up to one half of my kingdom.

With many vows he said to her, “I swear that I will give you anything you ask for, even as much as half my kingdom!”

And he swore to her, That whatever thou [shalt] ask, I shall give to thee, though it be the half of my kingdom.

He swore to her, over and over again, “Whatever you ask me, I’ll give it you—right up to half my kingdom!”

I swear that I will give you as much as half of my kingdom, if you want it.”

And he vowed to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, even half of my kingdom.”

Then a good opportunity came, for Herod gave a birthday party for his courtiers and army commanders and for the leading people in Galilee. Herodias’ daughter came in and danced, to the great delight of Herod and his guests. The king said to the girl, “Ask me anything you like and I will give it to you!” And he swore to her, “I will give you whatever you ask me, up to half of my kingdom!”

And he swore to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, even half of my kingdom.”

And he solemnly swore to her, ‘Whatever you ask me, I will give you, even half of my kingdom.’

Then he swore to her, “Whatever you ask I will give to you, even as much as half of my kingdom.”

And he swore to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give it to you; up to half of my kingdom.”

And he vowed to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, up to half of my kingdom.”

He even swore [many things] to her, “I will grant you whatever you ask of me, even to half of my kingdom.”

And he gave her his promise. He said to her, “Anything you ask for I will give you. I’ll give you up to half my kingdom.”

And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.

and he made a vow to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, up to half my kingdom.”

He made a promise which he would not break. He said, `Anything that you ask me for I will give you, even if you ask me for half of my kingdom.'

And he solemnly swore to her, ‘Whatever you ask me, I will give you, even half of my kingdom.’

And he made a shevuah (oath) to her solemnly, Whatever you ask me, I will give you, up to half of my Malchut. [ESTHER 5:3,6; 7:2]
