Because Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'Whoever curses his father or mother must certainly be put to death.'

"For Moses said, 'HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER'; and, 'HE WHO SPEAKS EVIL OF FATHER OR MOTHER, IS TO BE PUT TO DEATH';

For Moses said, 'Honor your father and mother,' and, 'Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.'

For instance, Moses gave you this law from God: 'Honor your father and mother,' and 'Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.'

For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother; and, Whoever curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

For Moses said, 'Honour thy father and thy mother' and again, 'He who curses father or mother, let him die the death.'

For example, Moses wrote, “You must love your father and your mother. You must obey them.” He also said, “You must kill anyone who curses his father or his mother.”

Moses said, ‘Respect your father and mother.’ ‘He who curses his father and mother will be put to death!’

“For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your Mother. And whoever shall speak evil of father or mother, let him die the death.’

Moses gave you God’s commandment: “Honor your father and your mother.” And also, “If you curse your father or your mother, you will be put to death.”

“For instance, Moses gave you this law from God: ‘Honor your father and mother.’ And he said that anyone who speaks against his father or mother must die.

Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and ‘Anyone who says cruel things to his father or mother must be put to death.’

He went on, “Well, good for you. You get rid of God’s command so you won’t be inconvenienced in following the religious fashions! Moses said, ‘Respect your father and mother,’ and, ‘Anyone denouncing father or mother should be killed.’ But you weasel out of that by saying that it’s perfectly acceptable to say to father or mother, ‘Gift! What I owed you I’ve given as a gift to God,’ thus relieving yourselves of obligation to father or mother. You scratch out God’s Word and scrawl a whim in its place. You do a lot of things like this.”

For example, Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and ‘Whoever speaks evil of his father or mother must be put to death.’

For Moses said, ‘Honor · your father and · your mother,’ and, ‘Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.’

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must surely die.’

For Moses said, Honour your father and your mother, and whosoever curses father or mother, let him die for it.

For Moses commanded, ‘Respect your father and your mother,’ and, ‘If you curse your father or your mother, you are to be put to death.’

For Moses said, Worship thy father and thy mother [Honour thou thy father and thy mother]; and he that curseth father or mother, die he by death.

Here’s an example: Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who slanders father or mother should die.’

Didn't Moses command you to respect your father and mother? Didn't he tell you to put to death all who curse their parents?

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him surely die’;

Then he went on, “It is wonderful to see how you can set aside the commandment of God to preserve your own tradition! For Moses said, ‘Honour your father and your mother’ and ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death’. But you say, ‘if a man says to his father or his mother, Korban—meaning, I have given God whatever duty I owed to you’, then he need not lift a finger any longer for his father or mother, so making the word of God invalid for the sake of the tradition which you hold. And this is typical of much of what you do.”

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must surely die.’

For Moses said, “Honour your father and your mother”; and, “Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must surely die.”

Moses said, Honor your father and your mother, and The person who speaks against father or mother will certainly be put to death .

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother [with respect and gratitude]’; and, ‘He who speaks evil of his father or mother must be put to death’;

For Moses said, ‘Honour your father and your mother’; and, ‘Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and ‘Whoever curses father or mother shall die.’

For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘The one who speaks evil of father or mother, is certainly to be put to death’;

For example, Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’ and ‘Whoever curses father or mother must be put to death.’
