Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from you.

One day some teachers of religious law and Pharisees came to Jesus and said, "Teacher, we want you to show us a miraculous sign to prove your authority."

Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

Then He was accosted by some of the Scribes and of the Pharisees who said, "Teacher, we wish to see a sign given by you."

Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from you."

Then some teachers of God's Law and some Pharisees said to Jesus, ‘Teacher, we want to see you do something powerful. This will show us that God has really sent you.’

Then answered certain of the scribes and Pharisees, saying, `Teacher, we will to see a sign from thee.'

Then some of the teachers of the Law and the proud religious law-keepers said to Jesus, “Teacher, we would like to have you do something special for us to see.”

Then answered some of the scribes and Pharisees, saying, “Master, we wish to see a sign from You.”

Scribes and Pharisees: Teacher, we want to see some miraculous sign from You.

One day some of the Jewish leaders, including some Pharisees, came to Jesus asking him to show them a miracle.

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, “Teacher, we would like you to show us a sign.”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered and said to Him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.”

Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we desire to see a sign from thee.

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, Teacher, we desire to see a sign or miracle from You [proving that You are what You claim to be].

Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law answered Jesus, saying, “Teacher, we want to see you work a miracle as a sign.”

Later a few religion scholars and Pharisees cornered him. “Teacher, we want to see your credentials. Give us some hard evidence that God is in this. How about a miracle?”

Then some of the experts in the law and Pharisees replied, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.”

Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, Teacher, we would like to see a sign from you.

Then some teachers of the Law and some Pharisees spoke up. “Teacher,” they said, “we want to see you perform a miracle.”

“Teacher,” responded some of the scribes and Pharisees. “We would like to see a sign from you.”

Some Pharisees and teachers of the Law of Moses said, “Teacher, we want you to show us a sign from heaven.”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said, “Master, we want to see a sign from you.” But Jesus told them, “It is an evil and unfaithful generation that craves for a sign, and no sign will be given to it—except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For just as Jonah was in the belly of that great sea-monster for three days and nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and nights. The men of Nineveh will stand up with this generation in the judgment and will condemn it. For they did repent when Jonah preached to them, and you have more than Jonah’s preaching with you now! The Queen of the South will stand up in the judgment with this generation and will condemn it. For she came from the ends of the earth to listen to the wisdom of Solomon, and you have more than the wisdom of Solomon with you now!

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.”

At that time some of the legal experts and the Pharisees requested of Jesus, “Teacher, we would like to see a sign from you.”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign (attesting miracle) from You [proving that You are what You claim to be].”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.”

Then some of the Sofrim and Perushim answered Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach, saying, Rabbi, we desire to see an ot (miraculous sign) from you.

Then some experts in Moses’ Teachings and Pharisees said, “Teacher, we want you to show us a miraculous sign.”

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from You.”

Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law answered Jesus. They said, “Teacher, we want to see you do a miracle as a sign from God.”
