And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
"When those came who had begun at five o'clock, they received a shilling apiece;
"When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius.
The workers who had come to work at five o'clock in the evening received one silver coin each.
And they of about the eleventh hour having come, did receive each a denary.
The workmen who had been hired at five o’clock came up. Each one of them got a day’s pay for his work.
“And those who were hired about the eleventh hour, came. And each received a penny.
So the workers who had been hired just a short while before came to the foreman, and he paid them each a day’s wage.
When the men hired at five o’clock were paid, each received $20.
When those who had started to labor at five o’clock came, each of them received a denarius.
And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each one received a denarius.
And when those came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a denarius.
“When those who were hired about five came, they each received one denarius.
And those who had been hired at the eleventh hour (five o’clock) came and received a denarius each.
“When the workers who were hired at five o’clock came to get their pay, each received one coin.
“Those hired at five o’clock came up and were each given a dollar. When those who were hired first saw that, they assumed they would get far more. But they got the same, each of them one dollar. Taking the dollar, they groused angrily to the manager, ‘These last workers put in only one easy hour, and you just made them equal to us, who slaved all day under a scorching sun.’
“When those who were hired around the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius.

When those hired about five o’clock came, each of them received the usual daily wage.
And those who were hired about the eleventh hour came and received every man a denarius.
The men who had begun to work at five o'clock were paid a silver coin each.
And so when they were come, that came about the eleventh hour, also they took every each of them a penny.
“So the ones who had worked for one hour came, and each of them received a dinar.
When the workers arrived, the ones who had been hired at five in the afternoon were given a full day's pay.
And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each of them received a denarius.
“When evening came the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the labourers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last and ending with the first.’ So those who were engaged at five o’clock came up and each man received a silver coin. But when the first to be employed came they reckoned they would get more, but they also received a silver coin a man. As they took their money they grumbled at the farmer and said, ‘These last fellows have only put in one hour’s work and you’ve treated them exactly the same as us who have gone through all the hard work and heat of the day!’
