And said to them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but you have made it a den of thieves.

And he said to them, “It is written: 'My house will be called the House of prayer, but you have made it a den of robbers.' “

He told them, "Scripture says, 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you're turning it into a gathering place for thieves!"

And He said to them, "It is written, My house will be called a house of prayer. But you are making it a den of thieves!"

He told them, "It is written, 'My house is to be called a house of prayer,' but you are turning it into a hideout for bandits!"

And he said to them, "It is written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are turning it into a den of robbers!"

And He said to them, "It is written, 'MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER'; but you are making it a ROBBERS' DEN."

"It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it 'a den of robbers.'"

He said to them, "The Scriptures declare, 'My Temple will be called a house of prayer,' but you have turned it into a den of thieves!"

And said to them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves.

"It is written," He said, "'My House shall be called the House of Prayer', but you are making it a robbers' cave."

He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a den of robbers!"

Jesus spoke to them all. He said, ‘The Bible says, “God's house will be a place where people come together to pray.” But you have changed it into a place where robbers meet.’

and he saith to them, `It hath been written, My house a house of prayer shall be called, but ye did make it a den of robbers.'

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house is to be called a house of prayer.’ You have made it a place of robbers.”

and said to them, “It is written! My house shall be called the House of Prayer! But you have made it a den of thieves!”

Jesus: It is written, “My house will be a house of prayer for all people,” but you have turned this house of prayer into a den of robbers.

“The Scriptures say my Temple is a place of prayer,” he declared, “but you have turned it into a den of thieves.”

He said to them, “It is written: ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a den of thieves.”

And He *said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a robbers’ den.”

and said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Jesus said to all the people there, “It is written in the Scriptures, ‘My Temple will be called a house for prayer.’ But you are changing it into a ‘hideout for robbers.’”

Jesus went straight to the Temple and threw out everyone who had set up shop, buying and selling. He kicked over the tables of loan sharks and the stalls of dove merchants. He quoted this text: My house was designated a house of prayer; You have made it a hangout for thieves. Now there was room for the blind and crippled to get in. They came to Jesus and he healed them.

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a den of robbers!”

And he said to them, “It stands written, · ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a den of thieves.”

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a den of robbers.”

and said to them, It is written: My house shall be called the house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves.

and said to them, “It is written in the Scriptures that God said, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are making it a hideout for thieves!”

And he said to them, It is written, Mine house shall be called an house of prayer [My house shall be called an house of prayer]; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

“This is what the Bible says,” he said to them, My house will be called a house of prayer— but you have made it a brigands’ lair!”

He told them, “The Scriptures say, ‘My house should be called a place of worship.’ But you have turned it into a place where robbers hide.”

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you make it a den of robbers.”

Then Jesus went into the Temple and drove out all the buyers and sellers there. He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the benches of those who sold doves, crying—“It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’. But you have turned it into a ‘den of thieves!’”

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a den of robbers.”

He said to them, ‘It is written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer”; but you are making it a den of robbers.’

He said to them, “It’s written, My house will be called a house of prayer. But you’ve made it a hideout for crooks.”

Jesus said to them, “It is written [in Scripture], ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a robbers’ den.”

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’, but you make it a den of robbers.”

And he said to them, “It is written: ‘My house shall be a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a den of thieves.”

And He *said to them, “It is written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a den of robbers.”

Jesus said to ·all the people there [L them], “It is written in the Scriptures, ‘My ·Temple [L House] will be called a house for prayer [Is. 56:7].’ But you are ·changing [making] it into a ·hideout for robbers [T den of thieves; Jer. 7:11].”

And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of thieves’!”

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you make it a den of robbers.”

He said to them, “It is written that the Lord said, ‘My house will be called a house where people can pray.’ (Isaiah 56:7) But you are making it ‘a den for robbers.’ ” (Jeremiah 7:11)

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

He said to them, “It has been written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are making it into a den of robbers!”

He said to them, `The holy writings say, "My house shall be called a house where people talk with God." But you have made it a place for people who steal!'

He said to them, ‘It is written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer”; but you are making it a den of robbers.’

And Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach says to them, It has been written, BEITI BEIT TEFILLAH YIKAREI (My House shall be called a House of Prayer, YESHAYAH 56:7), but you are making it into a MEARAT PARITZIM (den of robbers, YIRMEYAH 7:11).

He told them, “Scripture says, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you’re turning it into a gathering place for thieves!”

He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it ‘a den of thieves.’ ”

Jesus said to them, “The Scriptures say, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are changing it into a ‘hiding place for thieves.’”

Jesus said to all the people there, “It is written in the Scriptures, ‘My Temple will be a house where people will pray.’ But you are changing God’s house into a ‘hideout for robbers.’”

And he said to them, “It is written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a cave of robbers!”

‘It is written,’ he said to them, ‘“My house will be called a house of prayer,” but you are making it “a den of robbers.” ’

And He says to them, “It has been written [in Isa 56:7]: ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’. But you are making it a den of robbers”.
