So the landowner sent more servants. But the workers treated them the same way.

"Again he sent another group of slaves larger than the first; and they did the same thing to them.

So the landowner sent a larger group of his servants to collect for him, but the results were the same.
Again he sent other servants more than the first: and they did to them in like manner.
Again he sent another party of servants more numerous than the first; and these they treated in the same manner.
Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they treated them the same way.
So the master sent other servants to go to the farmers. He sent more servants than the first time. But the farmers did the same thing to those servants too.

Again he sent other servants. He sent more than the first time. The farmers did the same to those servants.
“Again, he sent other servants (more than the first) and they did likewise to them.
The dismayed landowner sent another band of servants to try to collect his due, a larger group of servants this time, but the tenants did the same thing—capturing, beating, killing.
“Then he sent a larger group of his men to collect for him, but the results were the same.
Again, he sent more servants, but they treated them in the same manner.
Again he sent another group of slaves larger than the first; and they did the same thing to them.
Again, he sent other slaves more than the first, and they did unto them likewise.
Again, he sent other servants, more than the first group, and they did the same to them.
Again he sent other servants, more than the first time, and they treated them the same way.
So the man sent some other servants to the farmers, even more than he sent the first time. But the farmers did the same thing to the servants that they had done before.
“The farmhands grabbed the first servant and beat him up. The next one they murdered. They threw stones at the third but he got away. The owner tried again, sending more servants. They got the same treatment. The owner was at the end of his rope. He decided to send his son. ‘Surely,’ he thought, ‘they will respect my son.’
Then the landowner sent even more servants than the first time. The tenant farmers treated them the same way.
Then he sent other servants, more than the first time, and they did the same to them.
Again he sent other slaves, more than the first; and they treated them in the same way.
Again he sent other servants, more than at the first, and they treated them likewise.
Again the man sent other slaves, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way.
Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and in like manner they did to them [and they did to them in like manner].
Again he sent other slaves, more than before, and they treated them in the same way.
He then sent more servants than he did the first time. But the renters treated them in the same way.
Again he sent other servants, more than the first; and they did the same to them.
“Now listen to another story. There was once a man, a land-owner, who planted a vineyard, fenced it round, dug out a hole for the wine-press and built a watch-tower. Then he let it out to farm-workers and went abroad. When the vintage-time approached he sent his servants to the farm-workers to receive his share of the proceeds. But they took the servants. beat up one, killed another, and drove off a third with stones. Then he sent some more servants, a larger party than the first, but they treated them in just the same way. Finally he sent his own son, thinking, ‘They will respect my son.’ Yet when the farm-workers saw the son they said to each other, ‘This fellow is the future owner. Come on, let’s kill him and we shall get everything that he would have had!’ So they took him, threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. Now when the owner of the vineyard returns, what will he do to those farm-workers?”

So the man sent some other ·servants [slaves] to the farmers, even more than he sent the first time. But the farmers did the same thing to them that they had done before [C the servants represent the prophets God sent to Israel].

Again he sent-forth other slaves— more than the first. And they did similarly to them.
