Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he went back to Galilee.

Then Jesus heard that Herod had put John the Baptist in prison. So Jesus returned to Galilee.

And Jesus having heard that John was delivered up, did withdraw to Galilee,

When Jesus heard that John the Baptist had been put in prison, He went to the country of Galilee.

And when Jesus had heard that John was committed to prison, he returned into Galilee.

It was not long until powerful people put John in prison. When Jesus learned this, He went back to Galilee.

When Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he left Judea and returned home to Nazareth in Galilee; but soon he moved to Capernaum, beside the Lake of Galilee, close to Zebulun and Naphtali.

When Jesus learned that John had been arrested, he withdrew to Galilee.

Now when Jesus heard that John had been taken into custody, He departed into Galilee;

Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he returned to Galilee;

When he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee.

Now when Jesus heard that John had been arrested and put in prison, He withdrew into Galilee.

When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he went back to Galilee.

When Jesus got word that John had been arrested, he returned to Galilee. He moved from his hometown, Nazareth, to the lakeside village Capernaum, nestled at the base of the Zebulun and Naphtali hills. This move completed Isaiah’s revelation: Land of Zebulun, land of Naphtali, road to the sea, over Jordan, Galilee, crossroads for the nations. People sitting out their lives in the dark saw a huge light; Sitting in that dark, dark country of death, they watched the sun come up. This Isaiah-prophesied revelation came to life in Galilee the moment Jesus started preaching. He picked up where John left off: “Change your life. God’s kingdom is here.”

When Jesus heard that John was put in prison, he withdrew into Galilee.

Now when Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into · Galilee.

Now when Jesus had heard that John was taken, he departed into Galilee.

When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he went away to Galilee.

But when Jesus had heard that John was taken, he went into Galilee.

When Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he went off to Galilee.

When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he went to Galilee.

Now when he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee;

Now when Jesus heard that John had been arrested he went back to Galilee. He left Nazareth and came to live in Capernaum, a lake-side town in the Zebulun-Naphtali territory. In this way Isaiah’s prophecy came true: ‘The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles: the people who sat in darkness saw a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death, light has dawned’.

Now when Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew to Galilee.

Jesus heard that John was put in prison, so he went to Galilee.

Now when Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew to Galilee.
