Or what man is there among you, of whom if his son shall ask bread, will he reach him a stone?
Or what man is there of you, who, if his son shall ask him for a loaf, will give him a stone;
Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
"If your child asks you for bread, would any of you give him a stone?
What man among you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
"There isn't a person among you who would give his son a stone if he asked for bread, is there?
Is there anyone among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
"Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?
"Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
"You parents--if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead?
Or what man is there of you, who, if his son shall ask bread, will give him a stone?
What man is there among you, who if his son shall ask him for bread will offer him a stone?
Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
Some of you are fathers. If your son asks you for some bread, you would not give him a stone.
`Or what man is of you, of whom, if his son may ask a loaf -- a stone will he present to him?
What man among you would give his son a stone if he should ask for bread?
“For what man is there among you who, if his son asks him for bread, would give him a stone?
Think of it this way: if your son asked you for bread, would you give him a stone? Of course not—you would give him a loaf of bread.
If a child asks his father for a loaf of bread, will he be given a stone instead?
“Is there anyone among you who would give a stone to his son if he asks for bread,
Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?
Or what man is there of you, whom, if his son asks for bread, will he give him a stone?
Who among you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone?
“If your children ask for bread, which of you would give them a stone?
“Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn’t a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?
Who among you, if his son asks him for bread, would give him a stone?
Or is there any man among you who, if his son should ask · for bread, would give him a stone?
Is there anyone among you who, if your child asks for bread, will give a stone?
Is there anyone among you who, if his son asked for bread, would offer him a stone?
Would any of you who are fathers give your son a stone when he asks for bread?
What man of you is, that if his son ask him bread [Or who of you is a man, whom if his son ask bread], whether he will take him a stone?
Don’t you see? Supposing your son asks you for bread—which of you is going to give him a stone?
Would any of you give your hungry child a stone, if the child asked for some bread?
Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
“If any of you were asked by his son for bread would you be likely to give him a stone, or if he asks for a fish would you give him a snake? If you then, for all your evil, quite naturally give good things to your children, how much more likely is it that your Heavenly Father will give good things to those who ask him?”
Is there anyone among you who, if your child asked for bread, would give a stone?

Who among you will give your children a stone when they ask for bread?
Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will [instead] give him a stone?

“If your children ask for bread, which of you would give them a stone?

“Suppose your son asks for bread. Which of you will give him a stone?

Or what man is there among you the ben of whom will ask for lechem (bread), and he will give him a stone.

“Do any of you have a son? If he asked for bread, would you give him a rock?
“What would you do if your son asks for bread? Which of you would give him a stone?

Or what person is there from-among you whom his son will ask-for bread— he will not give him a stone, will he?
