“Because people who are well don’t need a doctor! It’s the sick people who do!” was Jesus’ reply.

Suppose you go away and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice’. In any case I did not come to invite the ‘righteous’ but the ‘sinners’.”

And the One, having heard it, said, “The ones being strong have no need of a physician, but the ones being ill.
