And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes.
And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes.
And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”
And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, “This man blasphemeth.”
And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
But some of the Scribes said among themselves, “This man blasphemes.”
And behold, certain of the scribes said to themselves, This man blasphemes.
And behold some of the scribes said within themselves: He blasphemeth.
And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
Then some of the scribes thought, "He's dishonoring God."
At this, some of the scribes said among themselves, "He's blaspheming!"
Then some of the scribes told themselves, "This fellow is blaspheming!"
Then some of the experts in the law said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming!"
And some of the scribes said to themselves, "This fellow blasphemes."
At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, "This fellow is blaspheming!"
But some of the teachers of religious law said to themselves, "That's blasphemy! Does he think he's God?"
And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
"Such language is impious," said some of the Scribes among themselves.
Behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man blasphemes."
Then some teachers of God's Law said to themselves: ‘This man is speaking as if he is God. That is not right.’
And lo, certain of the scribes said within themselves, `This one doth speak evil.'
Some of the teachers of the Law said to themselves, “This man speaks as if He is God, but He is not!”
And behold, certain of the Scribes said among themselves, “This man blasphemes.”
Now some scribes and teachers of the law had been watching this whole scene. Scribes and Teachers (to themselves): This man is blaspheming!
“Blasphemy! This man is saying he is God!” exclaimed some of the religious leaders to themselves.
On hearing this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man blasphemes.”
And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes.
At this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “He’s blaspheming!”
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, This man blasphemes [He claims the rights and prerogatives of God]!
Some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This man speaks as if he were God. That is blasphemy!”
Back in the boat, Jesus and the disciples recrossed the sea to Jesus’ hometown. They were hardly out of the boat when some men carried a paraplegic on a stretcher and set him down in front of them. Jesus, impressed by their bold belief, said to the paraplegic, “Cheer up, son. I forgive your sins.” Some religion scholars whispered, “Why, that’s blasphemy!”
Then some of the experts in the law said among themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!”
At this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
Then some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
And certain of the scribes said in themselves, This man blasphemes.
Then some teachers of the Law said to themselves, “This man is speaking blasphemy!”
And lo! some of the scribes said within themselves, This blasphemeth.
“This fellow’s blaspheming!” said some of the scribes to themselves.
Some teachers of the Law of Moses said to themselves, “Jesus must think he is God!”
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
At once some of the scribes thought to themselves, “This man is blaspheming”. But Jesus realised what they were thinking, and said to them, “Why must you have such evil thoughts in your minds? Do you think it is easier to say to this man, ‘Your sins are forgiven’ or ‘Get up and walk’? But to make it quite plain that the Son of Man has full authority on earth to forgive sins”—and here he spoke to the paralytic—“Get up, pick up your bed and go home.” And the man sprang to his feet and went home. When the crowds saw what had happened they were filled with awe and praised God for giving such power to men.
Then some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
Then some of the scribes said to themselves, ‘This man is blaspheming.’
Some legal experts said among themselves, “This man is insulting God.”
And some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man blasphemes [by claiming the rights and prerogatives of God]!”
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
At that, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
And some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”
Some of the ·teachers of the law [scribes] said to themselves, “·This man speaks as if he were God. That is blasphemy [L This man blasphemes]!”
Then some of the Torah scholars said among themselves, “This fellow blasphemes!”
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.”
Then some teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is saying a very evil thing!”
And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
On seeing this, some of the Torah-teachers said among themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”
Some of the scribes were thinking, `This man is not giving respect to God.'
Then some of the scribes said to themselves, ‘This man is blaspheming.’
And hinei! Some of the Sofrim said to themselves, This one commits Chillul Hashem! [VAYIKRA 22:32]
Then some of the experts in Moses’ Teachings thought, “He’s dishonoring God.”
Then certain scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes.”
Some of the teachers of the law heard what Jesus said. They said to themselves, “What an insult to God for this man to say that!”
Some of the teachers of the law heard this. They said to themselves, “This man speaks as if he were God—that is blasphemy!”
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”
At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, ‘This fellow is blaspheming!’
And behold— some of the scribes said within themselves, “This One is blaspheming”.
