quoniam propter opus Christi usque ad mortem accessit tradens animam suam ut impleret id quod ex vobis deerat erga meum obsequium
Because for the work of Christ he was near to death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
Because for the work of Christ he was near unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
because for the work of Christ he came close to death, not regarding his life, to supply what was lacking in your service toward me.
because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not having regard for his own life, to supply what was lacking in your service toward me.
because for the work of Christ he came nigh unto death, hazarding his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.
For because of the work of The Messiah he approached death and scorned his life, to fulfill what you lacked in the ministry that was for me.
because for the sake of the work he drew near even to death, venturing his life that he might fill up what lacked in your ministration toward me.
Because for the work of Christ he came to the point of death: delivering his life, that he might fulfil that which on your part was wanting towards my service.
because for the work of Christ he came nigh unto death, hazarding his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.
for he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to complete what was lacking in your service to me.
He risked his life and almost died for the work of Christ in order to make up for the help you couldn't give me.
because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up what was lacking in your ministry to me.
because he came close to death for the work of the Messiah by risking his life to complete what remained unfinished in your service to me.
since it was because of the work of Christ that he almost died. He risked his life so that he could make up for your inability to serve me.
because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to complete what was deficient in your service to me.
because he almost died for the work of Christ. He risked his life to make up for the help you yourselves could not give me.
For he risked his life for the work of Christ, and he was at the point of death while doing for me what you couldn't do from far away.
Because for the work of Christ he was nigh to death, not regarding his life, to supply the want of your service towards me.
because it was for the sake of Christ's work that he came so near death, hazarding, as he did, his very life in endeavouring to make good any deficiency that there might be in your gifts to me.
because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.
He nearly died because he was working to serve Christ. He came to help me, because you could not help me yourselves. He was even ready to die so that he could do that on your behalf.
because on account of the work of the Christ he drew near to death, having hazarded the life that he might fill up your deficiency of service unto me.
He came close to death while working for Christ. He almost died doing things for me that you could not do.
Because he was near death for the work of Christ and did not regard his life, to fulfill that service which was lacking on your part toward me.
because he placed his life in grave danger for the work of the Anointed; he risked his life to serve me when you couldn’t.
for he risked his life for the work of Christ and was at the point of death while trying to do for me the things you couldn’t do because you were far away.
For he came perilously close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to render me those services that you were unable to provide.
because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to fulfill what was lacking in your service to me.
because for the work of the Christ he was near unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up what was lacking in your ministry to me.
For it was through working for Christ that he came so near death, risking his [very] life to complete the deficiencies in your service to me [which distance prevented you yourselves from rendering].
because he almost died for the work of Christ. He risked his life to give me the help you could not give in your service to me.
So you can see why I’m so delighted to send him on to you. When you see him again, strong and strapping, how you’ll rejoice and how relieved I’ll be. Give him a grand welcome, a joyful embrace! People like him deserve the best you can give. Remember the ministry to me that you started but weren’t able to complete? Well, in the process of finishing up that work, he put his life on the line and nearly died doing it.
because he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life in order to fill in what was lacking in your service to me.

because he risked his life and nearly died for the sake of the work of Christ, in order to give me the help that you yourselves could not give.
For the work of Christ he went to death, giving his life, that he should fulfill that that failed of you with my service. [For why for the work of Christ unto the death he went, giving his life, that he should fulfill that that failed to you with my service.]
He came close to death through risking his life for the Messiah’s work, so that he could complete the service to me that you hadn’t been able to perform.
He almost died working for Christ, and he risked his own life to do for me what you could not.
for he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to complete your service to me.
I have considered it desirable, however, to send you Epaphroditus. He has been to me brother, fellow-worker and comrade-in-arms, as well as being the messenger you sent to see to my wants. He has been home-sick for you, and was worried because he knew that you had heard that he was ill. Indeed he was ill, very dangerously ill, but God had mercy on him—and incidentally on me as well, so that I did not have the sorrow of losing him to add to my sufferings. I am particularly anxious, therefore, to send him to you so that when you see him again you may be glad, and to know of your joy will lighten my own sorrows. Welcome him in the Lord with great joy! You should hold men like him in highest honour, for his loyalty to Christ brought him very near death—he risked his life to do for me in person what distance prevented you all from doing.
because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up for those services that you could not give me.

Because he came near to death on account of the avodas kodesh of Moshiach, performing an act of Messianic mesirat nefesh (whole-hearted devotion to the cause of Moshiach, even at risk of life) having risked his life, that he might make up for the ministry to me that you could not give.
