sed quae mihi fuerunt lucra haec arbitratus sum propter Christum detrimenta
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted as loss for Christ.
Howbeit what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.
But these things that were advantages to me, I have accounted losses for the sake of The Messiah.
but what things were gain to me these I counted, on account of Christ, loss.
But the things that were gain to me, the same I have counted loss for Christ.
Howbeit what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
These things that I once considered valuable, I now consider worthless for Christ.
But everything that was a gain to me, I have considered to be a loss because of Christ.
But whatever things were assets to me, these I now consider a loss for the sake of the Messiah.
But these assets I have come to regard as liabilities because of Christ.
But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.
I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
Yet all that was gain to me--for Christ's sake I have reckoned it loss.
However, what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.
All those ideas seemed very important to me then. But now they are worth nothing to me, because I trust in Christ.
But what things were to me gains, these I have counted, because of the Christ, loss;
But I gave up those things that were so important to me for Christ.
But whatever things that were gain to me, the same I have counted as loss for Christ’s sake.
But whatever I used to count as my greatest accomplishments, I’ve written them off as a loss because of the Anointed One.
But all these things that I once thought very worthwhile—now I’ve thrown them all away so that I can put my trust and hope in Christ alone.
All these I once regarded as assets, but now I have come to regard them as losses because of Christ.
But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
But those things which were gain to me, I counted loss for Christ.
But everything that was a gain to me, I have considered to be a loss because of Christ.
But whatever former things I had that might have been gains to me, I have come to consider as [one combined] loss for Christ’s sake.
Those things were important to me, but now I think they are worth nothing because of Christ.
The very credentials these people are waving around as something special, I’m tearing up and throwing out with the trash—along with everything else I used to take credit for. And why? Because of Christ. Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant—dog dung. I’ve dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by him. I didn’t want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ—God’s righteousness.
But, whatever things were a profit for me, these things I have come to consider a loss because of Christ.
But whatever things were gain to me, these I have come to regard as loss because of · Christ.
Yet whatever gains I had, these I have come to regard as loss because of Christ.
But the things that were of advantage to me, I counted worthless for Christ’s sake.
But all those things that I might count as profit I now reckon as loss for Christ's sake.
But which things were to me winnings, I have deemed these impairings for Christ.
Does that sound as though my account was well in credit? Well, maybe; but whatever I had written in on the profit side, I calculated it instead as a loss—because of the Messiah.
But Christ has shown me that what I once thought was valuable is worthless.
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
Yet every advantage that I had gained I considered lost for Christ’s sake. Yes, and I look upon everything as loss compared with the overwhelming gain of knowing Jesus Christ my Lord. For his sake I did in actual fact suffer the loss of everything, but I considered it useless rubbish compared with being able to win Christ. For now my place is in him, and I am not dependent upon any of the self-achieved righteousness of the Law. God has given me that genuine righteousness which comes from faith in Christ. How changed are my ambitions! Now I long to know Christ and the power shown by his resurrection: now I long to share his sufferings, even to die as he died, so that I may perhaps attain as he did, the resurrection from the dead.
Yet whatever gains I had, these I have come to regard as loss because of Christ.
Yet whatever gains I had, these I have come to regard as loss because of Christ.
These things were my assets, but I wrote them off as a loss for the sake of Christ.
But whatever former things were gains to me [as I thought then], these things [once regarded as advancements in merit] I have come to consider as loss [absolutely worthless] for the sake of Christ [and the purpose which He has given my life].
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
[But] whatever gains I had, these I have come to consider a loss because of Christ.

But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
I thought things like that were really something great. But now I consider them to be nothing because of Christ.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
But the things that used to be advantages for me, I have, because of the Messiah, come to consider a disadvantage.
But all these things that might have helped me, I call them all nothing, because of Christ.
Yet whatever gains I had, these I have come to regard as loss because of Christ.
But what things were revach (gain, profit) to me, these things I considered loss, on account of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach (Mt 13:44-46; Lk 14:33).
These things that I once considered valuable, I now consider worthless for Christ.
But what things were gain to me, I have counted these things to be loss for the sake of Christ.
At one time all these things were important to me. But because of Christ, I decided that they are worth nothing.
