Then I saw a second wild animal. This one was coming up out of the ground. It had two horns like a lamb's horns. But it spoke like a dragon.

Then I saw another wild animal coming out of the earth. He had two horns like those of a lamb. His voice was like that of the dragon.

And I beheld another beast coming out of the earth which had two horns like the Lamb, but spoke like the dragon.

As I watched, I saw a second beast, this one rising up from the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it was speaking with the voice of a dragon.

Then I saw another strange animal, this one coming up out of the earth, with two little horns like those of a lamb but a fearsome voice like the Dragon’s.

Then I saw another beast, this one rising up out of the earth. It had two horns like those of a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.

It compels the earth and all its inhabitants to worship the first animal—the one with the mortal wound which had healed.

It [or He] had two horns like a ·lamb [or ram; Dan. 8:3], but it spoke like a dragon [C acting like a prophetic spokesperson for the dragon (see 16:13); along with the dragon and the first beast, this second beast forms an evil trinity].
