or ministry, let us wait on our ministering; or he that teacheth, on teaching;
or ministry, let us give ourselves to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching;
And one has ministry in his service, and one has that of a teacher in his instruction.
or service, let us occupy ourselves in service; or he that teaches, in teaching;
Or ministry, in ministering; or he that teacheth, in doctrine;
or ministry, let us give ourselves to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching;
if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching;
If your gift is serving, then devote yourself to serving. If it is teaching, devote yourself to teaching.
if service, in service; if teaching, in teaching;
If your gift is serving, devote yourself to serving others. If it is teaching, devote yourself to teaching others.
If it is service, he must serve; if it is teaching, he must teach;
if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching;
if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;
If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well.

if it is the gift of administration, let the administrator exercise a sound judgement in his duties.
or service, let us give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching;
God helps some people to serve others. They should do that well. God helps some people to be able to teach others. Those people should teach well.
or ministration -- `In the ministration!' or he who is teaching -- `In the teaching!'
If someone has the gift of helping others, then he should help. If someone has the gift of teaching, he should teach.
or service, let us serve; or one who teaches, in teaching;
If service is your gift, then serve well. If teaching is your gift, then teach well.
If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching.
If it is a gift of ministry, we should engage in serving others. If it is a gift of teaching, we should teach.
or service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching;
or ministry, in serving; or he that teaches, in doctrine;
if service, use it in service; if teaching, in teaching;
[He whose gift is] practical service, let him give himself to serving; he who teaches, to his teaching;
Anyone who has the gift of serving should serve. Anyone who has the gift of teaching should teach.
In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t. If you preach, just preach God’s Message, nothing else; if you help, just help, don’t take over; if you teach, stick to your teaching; if you give encouraging guidance, be careful that you don’t get bossy; if you’re put in charge, don’t manipulate; if you’re called to give aid to people in distress, keep your eyes open and be quick to respond; if you work with the disadvantaged, don’t let yourself get irritated with them or depressed by them. Keep a smile on your face. * * *

Let him who has an office attend to his duty. Let him who teaches take heed to his doctrine.
if it is to serve, we should serve; if it is to teach, we should teach;
either service, in ministering; either he that teacheth, in teaching; [either ministry, or service, in ministering; or he that teacheth, in teaching;]
If it is serving, we must work at our serving; if teaching, at our teaching;
If we can serve others, we should serve. If we can teach, we should teach.
if service, in our serving; he who teaches, in his teaching;
As your spiritual teacher I give this piece of advice to each one of you. Don’t cherish exaggerated ideas of yourself or your importance, but try to have a sane estimate of your capabilities by the light of the faith that God has given to you all. For just as you have many members in one physical body and those members differ in their functions, so we, though many in number, compose one body in Christ and are all members of one another. Through the grace of God we have different gifts. If our gift is preaching, let us preach to the limit of our vision. If it is serving others let us concentrate on our service; if it is teaching let us give all we have to our teaching; and if our gift be the stimulating of the faith of others let us set ourselves to it. Let the man who is called to give, give freely; let the man who wields authority think of his responsibility; and let the man who feels sympathy for his fellows act cheerfully.
