non solum autem sed et gloriamur in tribulationibus scientes quod tribulatio patientiam operatur
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience;
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience;
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;
And not only in this way, but we boast also in afflictions, for we know that affliction perfects patience in us,
And not only that, but we also boast in tribulations, knowing that tribulation works endurance;
And not only so; but we glory also in tribulations, knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And not only so, but let us also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
But that's not all. We also brag when we are suffering. We know that suffering creates endurance,
And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance,
Not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And not only so: we also exult in our sufferings, knowing as we do, that suffering produces fortitude;
Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance;
We are happy even when we have troubles and pain. That is because we know that those troubles help us to become patient and strong.
And not only [so], but we also boast in the tribulations, knowing that the tribulation doth work endurance;
We are glad for our troubles also. We know that troubles help us learn not to give up.
Not only that, but we also rejoice in tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings forth patience;
And that’s not all. We also celebrate in seasons of suffering because we know that when we suffer we develop endurance,
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn to be patient.
And not only that, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we realize that suffering develops perseverance,
And not only this, but we also boast in our afflictions, knowing that affliction brings about perseverance;
And not only this, but we even glory in the tribulations, knowing that the tribulation works patience;
And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance,
Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.
We also have joy with our troubles, because we know that these troubles produce patience.
There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!
Not only this, but we also rejoice confidently in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces patient endurance,
And not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that · suffering produces endurance,
And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Not only that, but we also rejoice in tribulation. For we know that trouble brings patience,
We also boast of our troubles, because we know that trouble produces endurance,
And not this only, but also we glory in tribulations, witting that tribulation worketh patience,
That’s not all. We also celebrate in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces patience,
But that's not all! We gladly suffer, because we know that suffering helps us to endure.
More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
This doesn’t mean, of course, that we have only a hope of future joys—we can be full of joy here and now even in our trials and troubles. Taken in the right spirit these very things will give us patient endurance; this in turn will develop a mature character, and a character of this sort produces a steady hope, a hope that will never disappoint us. Already we have some experience of the love of God flooding through our hearts by the Holy Spirit given to us.
And not only that, but we also boast in our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance,
And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
But not only that! We even take pride in our problems, because we know that trouble produces endurance,
And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance;
More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Not only that, but we even boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance,
And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
[L Not only this, but] We also ·have joy [rejoice; boast] ·with our troubles [through suffering/trials/persecution], because we know that ·these troubles [suffering; trials; persecution] produce ·patience [endurance].
And not only that, but we also boast in suffering—knowing that suffering produces perseverance;
More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
And that’s not all. We are full of joy even when we suffer. We know that our suffering gives us the strength to go on.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
But not only that, let us also boast in our troubles; because we know that trouble produces endurance,
And not only is that true, but we are very happy in our troubles, because we know that trouble makes us stronger.
And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Not only so, but we also glory in tzoros (troubles, afflictions), knowing that tzarah (trouble) produces zitzfleisch (patience),
But that’s not all. We also brag when we are suffering. We know that suffering creates endurance,
Not only so, but we also boast in tribulation, knowing that tribulation produces patience,
And we are also happy with the troubles we have. Why are we happy with troubles? Because we know that these troubles make us more patient.
And we also have joy with our troubles because we know that these troubles produce patience.
And not only this, but we also boast in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces patient endurance,
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
And not only this, but we also are boasting in the afflictions— knowing that the affliction is producing endurance,
