They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Your god, O Dan, lives; and, The manner of Beersheba lives; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

[How horrible it will be for] those who swear by Ashimah, the idol of Samaria, and say, "I solemnly swear, Dan, as your god lives...." "I solemnly swear as long as there is a road to Beersheba...." Those who say this will fall and never get up again.
Those who swear by the guilt of Samaria and say, "As your god lives, Dan," or "As the way of Beer-sheba lives"-- they will fall, never to rise again.
Those who have been swearing oaths by the sin of Samaria, or who say, 'As your god lives, Dan.' or who say, 'As the way of Beer-sheba lives.'— will fall, and will never rise again."
These are the ones who now take oaths in the name of the sinful idol goddess of Samaria. They vow, 'As surely as your god lives, O Dan,' or 'As surely as your beloved one lives, O Beer Sheba!' But they will fall down and not get up again."
"As for those who swear by the guilt of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan,' And, 'As the way of Beersheba lives,' They will fall and not rise again."
Those who swear by the sin of Samaria-- who say, 'As surely as your god lives, Dan,' or, 'As surely as the god of Beersheba lives'-- they will fall, never to rise again."
And those who swear by the shameful idols of Samaria--who take oaths in the name of the god of Dan and make vows in the name of the god of Beersheba--they will all fall down, never to rise again."

They worship Samaria's idols. They use the names of those false gods to make promises. They say, “In the name of the god of Dan,” or “In the name of the god of Beersheba.” Those people will fall down and they will never get up again.’
Those swearing by the guilt of Samaria, And have said, Live doth thy god, O Dan, And, Live doth the way of Beer-Sheba, And they have fallen -- and rise not again!'
As for those who swear by the false gods of Samaria, saying, ‘As your god lives, O Dan,’ and ‘As the way of Beersheba lives,’ they will fall and never rise again.”
And those who swear by the pagan idols of Samaria— who say “As your god lives, Dan!” Or “As your power lives, Beersheba!”— will all fall, never to rise again.
And those who worship the idols of Samaria, Dan, and Beersheba shall fall and never rise again.”
Those who swear by the shameful idol of Samaria and say, “As your god lives, O Dan,” and, “By the sacred path to Beer-sheba,” will all fall and never rise again.
As for those who swear by the guilt of Samaria, Who say, ‘As your god lives, O Dan,’ And, ‘As the way of Beersheba lives,’ They will fall and not rise again.”
Those that swear by the guiltiness of Samaria and say, As thy God of Dan lives; and, As the way of Beersheba lives, even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
Those who swear by the guilt of Samaria and say, “As your god lives, Dan,” or, “As the way of Beer-sheba lives”— they will fall, never to rise again.
Those who swear by Ashimah or the sin of Samaria and say, By the life of your god [the golden calf], O Dan! and [swear], By the life of the way of [idolatrous] Beersheba, they shall fall and rise no more.
They make promises by the idol in Samaria and say, ‘As surely as the god of Dan lives . . . ’ and, ‘As surely as the god of Beersheba lives, we promise . . . ’ So they will fall and never get up again.”
“On Judgment Day, lovely young girls will faint of Word-thirst, robust young men will faint of God-thirst, Along with those who take oaths at the Samaria Sin-and-Sex Center, saying, ‘As the lord god of Dan is my witness!’ and ‘The lady goddess of Beer-sheba bless you!’ Their lives will fall to pieces. They’ll never put it together again.”
Those who swear by the shameful guilt of Samaria, those who say, “As your god lives, Dan,” or, “The way of Beersheba lives”— they will fall, and they will never rise again.
Those who swear by Ashimah of Samaria, and say, “As your god lives, O Dan,” and, “As the way of Beer-sheba lives”— they shall fall, and never rise again.
Those who swear by the idols of Samaria, who say, ‘By the god of Dan’ or ‘By the god of Beersheba’—those people will fall and not rise again.”
which swear in the trespass of Samaria, and say, Dan, thy god liveth, and the way of Beersheba liveth; and they shall fall, and they shall no more rise again. (yea, they who swear by the trespass of Samaria, and say, O Dan, as thy god liveth, or By the god of Dan, and By the sacred way of Beersheba; they all shall fall, and they shall never rise again.)
You made promises to the goddess Ashimah at Samaria; you made vows to other gods at the shrines of Dan and Beersheba. So now you will fall and never get up.
Those who swear by Ash′imah of Samar′ia, and say, ‘As thy god lives, O Dan,’ and, ‘As the way of Beer-sheba lives,’ they shall fall, and never rise again.”
Those who swear by Ashimah of Samaria and say, “As your god lives, O Dan,” and, “As the way of Beer-sheba lives”— they shall fall and never rise again.

They ·make promises [swear oaths] by the ·idol in [L sin of] Samaria and say, ‘As surely as the god of Dan lives … [1 Kin. 12:29]’ and, ‘As surely as the ·god of [L way to; C perhaps the pilgrimage route to the pagan worship there] Beersheba lives, we promise….’ [C Dan was the city farthest north in Israel and Beersheba farthest south.] So they will fall and never get up again.”
Those swearing by Samaria’s guilt will say, ‘As your gods live, Dan!’ or ‘As the way of Beersheba lives!’ But they will fall, never to rise again.”
Those who swear by Ash′imah of Samar′ia, and say, ‘As thy god lives, O Dan,’ and, ‘As the way of Beer-sheba lives,’ they shall fall, and never rise again.”
Some people make promises in the name of Samaria’s god. That god has led them astray. Others say, ‘People of Dan, you can be sure that your god is alive.’ Still others say, ‘You can be sure that Beersheba’s god is alive.’ But all these people will fall dead. They will never get up again.”
They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beer-sheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
Those who swear by the sin of Shomron, who say, ‘As your god, Dan, lives,’ and, ‘As the way of Be’er-Sheva lives’ — they will fall and never get up again.”
Those who swear by Ashimah of Samaria, and say, ‘As your god lives, O Dan’, and, ‘As the way of Beer-sheba lives’— they shall fall, and never rise again.
They that swear by the sin of Shomron, and say, Chai Elohecha, O Dan; and, The Derech Beer Sheva liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
How horrible it will be for those who swear by Ashimah, the idol of Samaria, and say, “I solemnly swear, Dan, as your god lives. . . .” “I solemnly swear as long as there is a road to Beersheba. . . .” Those who say this will fall and never get up again.
Those who swear by Ashimah of Samaria, and say, “By the life of your god, O Dan,” and, “By the life of the way of Beersheba”— they shall fall and never rise again.
They made promises by the sin of Samaria, They said, ‘Dan, as surely as your god lives, we promise ….’ And they said, ‘As surely as the god of Beersheba lives, we promise ….’ But they will fall and never get up again.”
They made promises by the idol in Samaria. They said, ‘As surely as the god of Dan lives . . .’ And they said, ‘As surely as the god of Beersheba lives, we promise . . .’ So they will fall and never get up again.”
These are those who swear by the guilt of Samaria and say, ‘By the life of your gods, O Dan,’ and ‘By the life of the way of Beersheba,’ they will fall and they will not rise again.”
Those who swear by the sin of Samaria – who say, “As surely as your god lives, Dan”, or, “As surely as the god of Beersheba lives”– they will fall, never to rise again.’
