This is how Daniel came to serve the royal court, a position he safely held until the first year of King Cyrus when his Persian army conquered Babylonia.
Daniel held this appointment as the king’s counselor until the first year of the reign of King Cyrus.
Daniel remained there until the first year of the reign of King Cyrus.
And Daniel continued until the first year of Cyrus the king.
And Daniel continued even unto the first year of King Cyrus.
Daniel remained there until the first year of King Cyrus.
And Daniel continued there even to the first year of King Cyrus [at the close of the seventy years’ exile of Judah in Babylonia, which Jeremiah had foretold].
So Daniel continued to be the king’s servant until the first year Cyrus was king.
Daniel continued in the king’s service until the first year in the reign of King Cyrus.
So Daniel remained there until the first year of King Cyrus.
And Daniel continued there until the first year of King Cyrus.
Daniel remained at the royal court until Cyrus, the emperor of Persia, conquered Babylonia.
Forsooth Daniel was (there) till to the first year of king Cyrus.
