The Lord our God is making this strong covenant with you people who are standing here with him today. But it is not only with you. He also makes this covenant with those people who are not here today.

but with him who is here with us, standing to-day before Jehovah our God, and with him who is not here with us to-day,

I am making them with those who stand here with us today before the Lord our God, and with those who are not here with us today.

it’s with you who are standing here with us today in the presence of the Eternal our God, and also with those who aren’t with us here today.

This contract is not with you alone as you stand before him today, but with all future generations of Israel as well.

You know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we passed through various nations on the way here.

but both with those who stand here with us today in the presence of Yahweh our God and with those who are not with us here today—

but with those that stand here with us today before the LORD our God and also with those that are not here with us today.

but also with those who are standing here with us today in the presence of the Lord our God and with those who are not here today.

But with future Israelites who do not stand here with us today before the Lord our God, as well as with those who are here with us this day.

who are standing here before the Lord your God today, but also with those who are not here today.

I’m not making this Covenant and its oath with you alone. I am making it with you who are standing here today in the Presence of God, our God, yes, but also with those who are not here today. You know the conditions in which we lived in Egypt and how we crisscrossed through nations in our travels. You got an eyeful of their obscenities, their wood and stone, silver and gold junk-gods. Don’t let down your guard lest even now, today, someone—man or woman, clan or tribe—gets sidetracked from God, our God, and gets involved with the no-gods of the nations; lest some poisonous weed sprout and spread among you, a person who hears the words of the Covenant-oath but exempts himself, thinking, “I’ll live just the way I please, thank you,” and ends up ruining life for everybody. God won’t let him off the hook. God’s anger and jealousy will erupt like a volcano against that person. The curses written in this book will bury him. God will delete his name from the records. God will separate him out from all the tribes of Israel for special punishment, according to all the curses of the Covenant written in this Book of Revelation.

He is making it with all of us who stand here in his presence today and also with our descendants who are not yet born.

but to all men (but with all Israelites), present and absent.

In this agreement, the Lord promised that you would be his people and that he would be your God. He first made this promise to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and today the Lord is making this same promise to you. But it isn't just for you; it is also for your descendants.

You know that we lived in the land of Egypt and that we passed through the nations, that you too passed through

but both with those who stand here with us today in the presence of the Lord our God, and with those who are not with us here today

“Indeed you know how we dwelt in the land of Egypt and how we crossed through the nations that we passed through.

but with him who is not here with us this day as well as with him who stands here with us this day before the Lord our God.

You are standing here with us today in front of the Lord our God. And I’m also making this covenant with those who aren’t here today.

But with him that standeth here with us this day before the Lord our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:

(LY: iii) For you know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we came directly through the nations you passed through;

but also with those who are not here with us today.

But with him that standeth here with us today before Hashem Eloheinu, and also with him that is not here with us today;

It is for those of you who are standing here with us today in the presence of Yahweh our Elohim and also for those who are not here today.

but with him who stands here with us today before the Lord our God, and with him who is not here with us today

Yes, he is making this agreement with all of you who stand here with us today before the Lord our God. But this agreement is also for our descendants who are not here with us today.

You are standing here before the Lord your God today. But he is also making it with those who are not here today.

But with whoever is standing here with us today before Yahweh our God, and with whoever is not standing here with us today.
