For you know how we dwelt in the land of Egypt, and how we have passed through the midst of nations, and passing through them,

(for ye know how we dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the midst of the nations through which ye passed;

“You know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed.

You know how we lived in Egypt and how we passed through other countries on our way here.

Indeed, you know how we lived in the land of Egypt and passed through the nations where you traveled.

"Now, you know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we traveled through the territory of other nations.

"(For you know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we crossed through the nations as we traveled.

(for you know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed;

You yourselves know how we lived in Egypt and how we passed through the countries on the way here.

"You remember how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we traveled through the lands of enemy nations as we left.

(For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;

(for you know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed;

You remember how we lived when we were in Egypt. You remember how we travelled through other countries as we came here.

for ye have known how ye dwelt in the land of Egypt, and how we passed by through the midst of the nations which ye have passed by;

You know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we passed through the land of the nations on our way here.

You know what life was like in the land of Egypt, and you saw how other nations lived when you traveled through their territories.

“Surely you remember how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how as we left, we came safely through the territory of enemy nations.

You saw their abominations in their midst, idols of wood and stone, silver and gold.

for you know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed;

For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the Gentiles which ye passed by;

“Indeed, you know how we lived in the land of Egypt and passed through the nations where you traveled.

You know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we came through the midst of the nations you crossed.

You know how we lived in Egypt and how we passed through the countries when we came here.

I’m not making this Covenant and its oath with you alone. I am making it with you who are standing here today in the Presence of God, our God, yes, but also with those who are not here today. You know the conditions in which we lived in Egypt and how we crisscrossed through nations in our travels. You got an eyeful of their obscenities, their wood and stone, silver and gold junk-gods. Don’t let down your guard lest even now, today, someone—man or woman, clan or tribe—gets sidetracked from God, our God, and gets involved with the no-gods of the nations; lest some poisonous weed sprout and spread among you, a person who hears the words of the Covenant-oath but exempts himself, thinking, “I’ll live just the way I please, thank you,” and ends up ruining life for everybody. God won’t let him off the hook. God’s anger and jealousy will erupt like a volcano against that person. The curses written in this book will bury him. God will delete his name from the records. God will separate him out from all the tribes of Israel for special punishment, according to all the curses of the Covenant written in this Book of Revelation.

You yourselves know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we passed through the midst of the various nations we encountered.

You know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed.

“You remember what life was like in Egypt and what it was like to travel through the territory of other nations.

For ye know how we dwelled in the land of Egypt, and how we passed by the midst of nations; which ye passed (by), (For ye know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how, when we passed through the midst of the nations,)

When we lived in Egypt, you saw the Egyptians worship disgusting idols of wood, stone, silver, and gold. Then as we traveled through other nations, you saw those people worship other disgusting idols.

“You know how we dwelt in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed;

You know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed.

You know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed.

You know firsthand how we used to live in Egypt and how we passed right through the nations that you passed through.

(for you know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we passed through the nations along the way;

and saw the loathsome things and idols of wood and stone, of gold and silver, that they possess.

You saw their detestable things and their idols—wood and stone, silver and gold—that were with them.

You yourselves know how we lived in Egypt. You also know how we passed through other countries on the way here.

and you saw their detestable things and their idols of wood, stone, silver and gold that they had with them.
