So they organized them into work-gangs and put them to hard labor under gang-foremen. They built the storage cities Pithom and Rameses for Pharaoh. But the harder the Egyptians worked them the more children the Israelites had—children everywhere! The Egyptians got so they couldn’t stand the Israelites and treated them worse than ever, crushing them with slave labor. They made them miserable with hard labor—making bricks and mortar and back-breaking work in the fields. They piled on the work, crushing them under the cruel workload.
But the more the Egyptians oppressed the Israelites, the more they increased in number, and the more they spread out. The Egyptians were filled with dread because of them.
But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread, so that the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites.
But the more the Egyptians oppressed the Israelites, the more they increased in number and the farther they spread through the land. The Egyptians came to fear the Israelites

But even though the Israelites were mistreated, their families grew larger, and they took over more land. Because of this, the Egyptians feared them worse than before

But the more the Israelites were oppressed, the more they increased in number and spread out. The Egyptians couldn’t stand them any longer.
But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew so that as a result they abhorred the sons of Israel.
The Egyptians forced the Israelites to work harder and harder. But the harder they worked, the more they grew and spread, and the more the Egyptians became afraid of them.
The Egyptians forced the Israelites to work even harder. But this made the Israelites grow in number and spread more. So the Egyptians became more afraid of them.
And as he oppressed them, so they became many, and so they spread out, and the Egyptians were afraid because of the presence of the Israelites.
But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites
