The Lord said to Moses, ‘Go down to the people. Warn them that they must stay away from the mountain. They must not cross the line to try to see me, the Lord. If they do that, many of them will die.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go down and tell the people not to break through to look at the Lord. For then many of them would be destroyed.

Eternal One (to Moses): Go down, and warn the people not to cross the boundaries in order to try to see Me, or else many of them will die.

But the Lord told Moses, “Go back down and warn the people not to cross the boundaries. They must not come up here to try to see God, for if they do, many of them will die.
