siquidem ecce cecidit paries numquid non dicetur vobis ubi est litura quam levistis
See, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which you have daubed it?
Lo, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing with which you have daubed it?
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
Surely, when the wall has fallen, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the mortar with which you plastered it?’ ”
Lo, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said unto you, “Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?”
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
And lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing with which ye have daubed it?
Behold, when the wall is fallen: shall it not be said to you: Where is the daubing wherewith you have daubed it?
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
And when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the coating with which you smeared it?’
When the wall falls down, people will ask them, "Where's the paint that you used to cover the wall?"
Now when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, 'Where is the coat of whitewash that you put on it?"
Look! When the wall collapses, won't it be said of you, 'Where's the coat of paint that you spread all over the wall?'
When the wall has collapsed, people will ask you, "Where is the whitewash you coated it with?"
"Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, 'Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?'"
When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, "Where is the whitewash you covered it with?"
And when the wall falls, the people will cry out, 'What happened to your whitewash?'
Lo, when the wall hath fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which ye have daubed it?
Behold, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?
After the wall has fallen down, people will say, ‘That white paint was useless!’
And lo, fallen hath the wall! Doth not one say unto you, Where [is] the daubing that ye daubed?
When the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, ‘Where is the covering you used to cover the wall?’”
And guess what? When your nicely plastered wall collapses, the people will ask you, “Where is your plaster? Didn’t it strengthen the wall?”
And when the wall falls, the people will cry out, ‘Why didn’t you tell us that it wasn’t good enough? Why did you whitewash it and cover up its faults?’
When the wall collapses that you have smeared with whitewash and it falls to the ground so that its foundations will be laid bare, you will be destroyed along with it, and thus you will know that I am the Lord.
Now behold, the wall will fall. Will it then not be said to you, ‘Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?’”
And behold, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the mud with which ye have plastered it?
When the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, “Where’s the whitewash you plastered on it?”
Behold, when the wall is fallen, will you not be asked, Where is the coating with which you [prophets] daubed it?
When the wall has fallen, people will ask you, “Where is the whitewash you used on the wall?”
“The fact is that they’ve lied to my people. They’ve said, ‘No problem; everything’s just fine,’ when things are not at all fine. When people build a wall, they’re right behind them slapping on whitewash. Tell those who are slapping on the whitewash, ‘When a torrent of rain comes and the hailstones crash down and the hurricane sweeps in and the wall collapses, what’s the good of the whitewash that you slapped on so liberally, making it look so good?’
and suddenly the wall will fall. Won’t they say to you, “Where is the mud plaster you daubed on now?”
When the wall falls, will it not be said to you, “Where is the whitewash you smeared on it?”
The wall will collapse, and everyone will ask you what good the whitewash did.”
For lo! the wall fell down. Whether it shall not be said to you, Where is the pargeting, which ye pargeted? (For lo! when the wall falleth down, shall it not be said to you, Where is the mortar, which ye should have used?)
People will then ask the workers why the paint didn't hold it up.
and when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the daubing with which you daubed it?’
When the wall falls, will it not be said to you, “Where is the whitewash you smeared on it?”
When the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the whitewash you smeared on it?’
The wall will certainly fall. Won’t it be said about you, “Where is your plaster now?”
Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, ‘Where is the coating with which you [prophets] plastered it?’”
And when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the coating with which you smeared it?’
When the wall has fallen, will you not be asked: “Where is the whitewash you spread on it?”
Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, ‘Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?’”
When the wall has fallen, people will ask you, “Where is the whitewash you used on the wall?”
Behold, when the wall has fallen, will it not be said about you, ‘Where is the whitewash that you plastered it with?’’’
and when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the daubing with which you daubed it?’
The wall will fall down. Then people will ask them, ‘Now where is the paint you covered it with?’ ”
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
and the wall will fall down. Then people will ask you, ‘Where is the whitewash you used to “plaster” it?’”
When the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the whitewash you smeared on it?’
Hinei, when the kir (wall) is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the mudplaster wherewith ye have daubed it?
When the wall falls down, people will ask them, “Where’s the paint that you used to cover the wall?”
When the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, “Where is the whitewash with which you have daubed it?”
When the wall falls down, the people will ask the prophets, ‘What happened to the plaster you put on the wall?’”
When the wall has fallen, people will ask you, “Where is the whitewash you used on the wall?”
And look! When the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the whitewash with which you covered it?’
When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, ‘Where is the whitewash you covered it with?’
