sin autem dixero impio morte morieris et egerit paenitentiam a peccato suo feceritque iudicium et iustitiam
Again, when I say to the wicked, You shall surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
Again, when I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; if he turns from his sin, and does that which is lawful and right;
Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
Again, when I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right,
Again, when I say unto the wicked, ‘Thou shalt surely die,’ if he turn from his sin and do that which is lawful and right,
Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
And when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt certainly die, and he turneth from his sin, and doeth judgment and justice;
And if I shall say to the wicked: Thou shalt surely die: and he do penance for his sin, and do judgment and justice,
Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
Again, though I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ yet if he turns from his sin and does what is just and right,
I may warn the wicked person that he will certainly die. But suppose he turns from his sin and does what is fair and right.
So when I tell the wicked person, 'You will surely die,' but he repents of his sin and does what is just and right--
"If I tell the wicked person that he will certainly die, if he turns from his sin and acts with justice and righteousness,
Suppose I say to the wicked, 'You must certainly die,' but he turns from his sin and does what is just and right.
"But when I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness,
And if I say to a wicked person, 'You will surely die,' but they then turn away from their sin and do what is just and right--
And suppose I tell some wicked people that they will surely die, but then they turn from their sins and do what is just and right.
Again, when I say to the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he shall turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
Again, when I say to the wicked, You shall surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
Also, I may say to wicked people, “You will certainly die because of your sins.” But then they may stop doing bad things. They may start to do things that are good and right.
And in My saying to the wicked: Thou surely diest, And -- he hath turned back from his sin, And hath done judgment and righteousness,
But when I tell the sinful man that he will die, and he turns from his sin and does what is right and good,
If I tell the wicked, ‘You are certainly going to die,’ but he turns from his wicked path and chooses to be honest and do what is right,
And when I tell the wicked he will die, and then he turns from his sins and does what is fair and right—
Again, if I say to the wicked that they will surely die, and then they turn away from sin and do what is lawful and upright,
But when I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and he turns from his sin and does justice and righteousness,
And, when I am saying unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turns from his sin, and does judgment and righteousness
“‘So when I tell the wicked person, “You will surely die,” but he repents of his sin and does what is just and right—
Again, when I have said to the wicked, You shall surely die, if he turns from his sin and does that which is lawful and right—
Or, if I say to the wicked people, ‘You will surely die,’ they may stop sinning and do what is right and honest.
“‘On the other hand, if I tell a wicked person, “You’ll die for your wicked life,” and he repents of his sin and starts living a righteous and just life—being generous to the down-and-out, restoring what he had stolen, cultivating life-nourishing ways that don’t hurt others—he’ll live. He won’t die. None of his sins will be kept on the books. He’s doing what’s right, living a good life. He’ll live.
Or when I say to the wicked man, “You will surely die,” and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness—
Again, though I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die,” yet if they turn from their sin and do what is lawful and right—
I may warn someone evil that he is going to die, but if he stops sinning and does what is right and good—
Forsooth if I say to the wicked man, Thou shalt die by death, and he doeth penance for his sin, and doeth doom and rightfulness, (And if I say to the wicked person, Thou shalt die, and he doeth penance for his sin, and doeth justice and righteousness,)
Suppose I warn wicked people that they will die because of their sins, and they stop sinning and start doing right.
Again, though I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ yet if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right,
Again, though I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die,” yet if they turn from their sin and do what is lawful and right—
Again, though I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die’, yet if they turn from their sin and do what is lawful and right—
And even if I have pronounced a death sentence on the wicked, if they turn from sin and do what is just and right—
But when I say to the wicked, ‘You will certainly die,’ and he turns from his sin and practices that which is just (fair) and right—
Again, though I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die’, yet if he turns from his sin and does what is just and right,
And though I say to the wicked that they shall die, if they turn away from sin and do what is just and right—
But when I say to the wicked, ‘You will certainly die,’ and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness,
Or, if I say to the wicked people, ‘You will surely die,’ they may stop sinning and do what is right and ·honest [just].
When I say to the wicked, “You will surely die,” yet he turns from his sin and does what is just and right—
Again, though I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ yet if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right,
Suppose I say to a sinful person, ‘You can be sure you will die.’ And then they turn away from their sin. They do what is fair and right.
Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
Likewise, if, after I tell the wicked person, “You must die,” he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right —
Again, though I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die’, yet if they turn from their sin and do what is lawful and right—
Again, when I say unto the rashah, Thou shalt surely die and he turn from his chattat, and do that which is mishpat and tzedakah;
I may warn the wicked person that he will certainly die. But suppose he turns from his sin and does what is fair and right.
Again, when I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die,” and he turns from his sin and does that which is lawful and right,
“Or maybe I will tell some evil people that they will die. But they might change their lives, stop sinning, and begin to live right. They might become good and fair.
Or, I might say to the wicked person, “You will surely die.” But he might turn from his sin and do what is right and honest.
And when I say to the wicked, ‘Certainly you will die,’ but he returns from his sin and he does justice and righteousness—
And if I say to a wicked person, “You will surely die,” but they then turn away from their sin and do what is just and right –
