But the portico on the inner side of the gate complex was 14 feet with columns of 3½ feet.
Walking on through the passageway I saw that there were three guardrooms on each side; each of these rooms was 10-1/2 feet square, with a distance of 8-3/4 feet along the wall between them. In front of these rooms was a low barrier 18 inches high and 18 inches wide. Beyond the guardrooms was a 10-1/2-foot doorway opening into a 14-foot hall with 3-1/2-foot columns. Beyond this hall, at the inner end of the passageway, was a vestibule 22-3/4 feet wide and 17-1/2 feet long.

And he meted the porch of the gate of eight cubits, and the post(s) thereof by two cubits; soothly the porch of the gate was within. (And he measured the porch of the gateway, eight cubits, and its posts, two cubits; and the porch of the gateway was within.)
at the end of the passageway. The man measured this room: It was four meters from the doorway to the opposite wall, and the distance from the doorway to the wall on either side was one meter.

Then he measured the gate’s entranceway itself, fourteen feet, and its supports, three-and-a-half feet; the gate’s entranceway was on the side facing the house.
Then he measured the vestibule of the gateway, eight cubits; and its pilasters, two cubits; and the vestibule of the gate was at the inner end.
Then he measured the ulam of the sha’ar, eight cubits; and the jambs thereof, two cubits; and the ulam of the sha’ar was on the inside.
It extended 14 feet from the temple. Its recessed walls were 3½ feet thick. The gateway’s entrance hall faced the temple.
Then he measured the vestibule of the gate, eight cubits. And its posts, two cubits. And the vestibule of the gate was the inner end.
It was 8 cubits long. He measured the walls on either side of the gate. Each side wall was 2 cubits wide. The porch was at the end of the gateway that faced the Temple.
It was about 14 feet deep. And its doors were 3½ feet thick. The porch of the gate faced the Temple.
And he measured the portico of the gate as eight cubits, and its pilaster was two cubits thick, and he measured the portico of the gate on the inside.
