Priest-king Melchizedek offered a special blessing to Abram. King Melchizedek: May Abram be blessed by the Most High God, Creator of the heavens and earth.

Then Melchizedek blessed Abram with this blessing: “The blessing of the supreme God, Creator of heaven and earth, be upon you, Abram; and blessed be God, who has delivered your enemies over to you.” Then Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of all the loot.

Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought out bread and wine—he was priest of The High God—and blessed him: Blessed be Abram by The High God, Creator of Heaven and Earth. And blessed be The High God, who handed your enemies over to you. Abram gave him a tenth of all the recovered plunder.
