Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made you.

What's more, I am changing your name. It will no longer be Abram. Instead, you will be called Abraham, for you will be the father of many nations.

No more will your name be Abram. But your name will be Abraham. For I will make you the father of many nations.
To symbolize your foundational role in this covenant, I hereby change your name. You will no longer go by the name “Abram.” Your new name will be “Abraham,” which means “father of a great multitude of nations,” because that is exactly what I will make of you.
“What’s more,” God told him, “I am changing your name. It is no longer ‘Abram’ (‘Exalted Father’), but ‘Abraham’ (‘Father of Nations’)—for that is what you will be. I have declared it.
You will no longer be called Abram, but Abraham, for I will make you the father of many nations.

I am changing your name from Abram to Abraham because I am making you a father of many nations.
Overwhelmed, Abram fell flat on his face. Then God said to him, “This is my covenant with you: You’ll be the father of many nations. Your name will no longer be Abram, but Abraham, meaning that ‘I’m making you the father of many nations.’ I’ll make you a father of fathers—I’ll make nations from you, kings will issue from you. I’m establishing my covenant between me and you, a covenant that includes your descendants, a covenant that goes on and on and on, a covenant that commits me to be your God and the God of your descendants. And I’m giving you and your descendants this land where you’re now just camping, this whole country of Canaan, to own forever. And I’ll be their God.”
Your name will not be Abram anymore, but your name will be Abraham, for I have made you the father of a large group of nations.
No longer shall your name be Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you the ancestor of a multitude of nations.
Your name will no longer be Abram, but Abraham, because I am making you the ancestor of many nations.
and thy name shall no more be called Abram, but thou shalt be called Abraham, for I have made thee [the] father of many folks (for I have made thee the father of many nations);
I promise that you will be the father of many nations. So now I'm changing your name from Abram to Abraham.
No longer shall your name be Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
No longer shall your name be Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you the ancestor of a multitude of nations.
No longer shall your name be Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you the ancestor of a multitude of nations.
And because I have made you the ancestor of many nations, your name will no longer be Abram but Abraham.

I am changing your name from Abram [C meaning “exalted father”] to Abraham [C sounds like “father of a multitude” in Hebrew] because I am making you a father of ·many [L a host/multitude of] nations.

Neither shall thy shem any more be called Avram, but thy shem shall be Avraham; for Av hamon Goyim (Father of a multitude of Goyim) have I made thee. [T.N. Ga 3:29 says “And if you belong to Moshiach (YESHAYAH 53:10), then you are of the ZERAH of Avraham Avinu, you are yoreshim (heirs) according to the havtachah (promise).]
So your name will no longer be Abram [Exalted Father], but Abraham [Father of Many] because I have made you a father of many nations.
No longer will your name be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham, for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
I will change your name from Abram to Abraham, because I am making you the father of many nations.
I am changing your name from Abram to Abraham. This is because I am making you a father of many nations.
