Abraham's servant hurried to meet her. He said, ‘Please give me a little water to drink from your pot.’

Then the servant ran to meet her. He said, “Let me drink a little water from your jar.”

The servant wasted no time; he ran down to meet her. Servant: Please let me have a little water to drink from your jar.

Running over to her, the servant asked her for a drink.

The servant hurried up to her and said, “Please give me some of the water from your jug.”

Then the servant ran to meet her and said, “Please give me a little water to drink from your jar.”

Then the slave ran to meet her and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.

The girl was stunningly beautiful, a pure virgin. She went down to the spring, filled her jug, and came back up. The servant ran to meet her and said, “Please, can I have a sip of water from your jug?”
