Suddenly seven thin ears of grain that had been scorched by an east wind sprouted up right after them
Then seven heads of grain, thin and burned by the east wind, were sprouting up after them.

Then, suddenly, seven more heads appeared on the stalk, but these were shriveled and withered by the east wind.
But seven empty heads, shriveled by the east wind, sprouted up after them.
And behold, seven ears, thin and scorched by the east wind, sprouted up after them.
And, behold, seven thin heads, blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.
After them, seven heads of grain, thin and scorched by the east wind, sprouted up.
And behold, after them seven ears [of grain] sprouted, thin and blighted by the east wind.
After that, seven more heads of grain sprang up, but they were thin and burned by the hot east wind.
He went back to sleep and dreamed a second time: Seven ears of grain, full-bodied and lush, grew out of a single stalk. Then seven more ears grew up, but these were thin and dried out by the east wind. The thin ears swallowed up the full, healthy ears. Then Pharaoh woke up—another dream.
