And it shall be at that day, said the LORD, that you shall call me Ishi; and shall call me no more Baali.
And it shall be at that day, says the LORD, that you shall call me Ishi; and shall call me no more Baali.
And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.
And it shall be at that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.
“And it shall be, in that day,” Says the Lord, “That you will call Me ‘My Husband,’ And no longer call Me ‘My Master,’
“And it shall be at that day,” saith the Lord, “that thou shalt call Me ‘Ishi’ [that is, My husband], and shalt call Me no more ‘Baali’ [that is, My Lord].
And it shall be at that day, saith Jehovah, that thou shalt call me Ishi, and shalt call me no more Baali.
And it shall be in that day, saith Jehovah, that thou shalt call me, My husband, and shalt call me no more, Baali;
And it shall be in that day, saith the Lord, That she shall call me : My husband, and she shall call me no more Baali.
And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.
“And in that day, declares the LORD, you will call me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer will you call me ‘My Baal.’
"On that day she will call me her husband," declares the LORD. "She will no longer call me her master.
In that day-- this is the LORD's declaration-- you will call Me, "My husband," and no longer call Me, "My Baal."
"It will come about at that time," declares the LORD, "that you will address me as 'My husband,' and you will no longer call me 'My master'.
"At that time," declares the LORD, "you will call, 'My husband'; you will never again call me, 'My master.'
"It will come about in that day," declares the LORD, "That you will call Me Ishi And will no longer call Me Baali.
"In that day," declares the LORD, "you will call me 'my husband'; you will no longer call me 'my master.'
When that day comes," says the LORD, "you will call me 'my husband' instead of 'my master.'
And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.
It will be in that day," says Yahweh, "that you will call me 'my husband,' and no longer call me 'my master.'
The Lord says this: When that happens, you will call me, ‘My husband’. You will never again call me, ‘Baal, my master’.
And it hath come to pass, in that day, An affirmation of Jehovah, Thou dost call Me -- My husband, And dost not call Me any more -- My lord.
In that day” says the Lord, “you will call Me, ‘My Husband.’ And you will no longer call Me, ‘My Baal.’
And I swear when that day comes, she’ll call Me “my husband” and never address Me again as “my master” as she did those other gods.
“In that coming day,” says the Lord, “she will call me ‘My Husband’ instead of ‘My Master.’
As a result, now I intend to allure her, lead her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
And it will be in that day,” declares Yahweh, “That you will call Me Ishi And will no longer call Me Baali.
And it shall be in that time, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me My Husband, and shalt no longer call me Baali.
In that day— this is the Lord’s declaration— you will call me “my husband” and no longer call me “my Baal.”
And it shall be in that day, says the Lord, that you will call Me Ishi [my Husband], and you shall no more call Me Baali [my Baal].
The Lord says, “In the future she will call me ‘my husband’; no longer will she call me ‘my baal.’
“At that time”—this is God’s Message still— “you’ll address me, ‘Dear husband!’ Never again will you address me, ‘My slave-master!’ I’ll wash your mouth out with soap, get rid of all the dirty false-god names, not so much as a whisper of those names again. At the same time I’ll make a peace treaty between you and wild animals and birds and reptiles, And get rid of all weapons of war. Think of it! Safe from beasts and bullies! And then I’ll marry you for good—forever! I’ll marry you true and proper, in love and tenderness. Yes, I’ll marry you and neither leave you nor let you go. You’ll know me, God, for who I really am. * * *
In that day, declares the Lord, this is what will take place: You will call me “my husband.” You will no longer call me “my master.”
On that day, says the Lord, you will call me, “My husband,” and no longer will you call me, “My Baal.”
Then once again she will call me her husband—she will no longer call me her Baal.
And it shall be in that day, saith the Lord, she shall call me Mine husband, and she shall no more call me Baali; (And it shall be on that day, saith the Lord, that she shall call me Ishi, or My husband, and she shall no more call me Baali, or My Lord;)
I promise from that day on, you will call me your husband instead of your master.
“And in that day, says the Lord, you will call me, ‘My husband,’ and no longer will you call me, ‘My Ba′al.’
On that day, says the Lord, you will call me “my husband,” and no longer will you call me “my Baal.”
On that day, says the Lord, you will call me, ‘My husband’, and no longer will you call me, ‘My Baal’.
On that day, says the Lord, you will call me, “My husband,” and no longer will you call me, “My Lord.”
“It shall come about in that day,” says the Lord, “That you will call Me Ishi (my husband) And will no longer call Me Baali (my Baal).
“And in that day, declares the Lord, you will call me ‘My Husband’, and no longer will you call me ‘My Baal.’
Therefore, I will allure her now; I will lead her into the wilderness and speak persuasively to her.
And it will come about on that day,” declares the Lord, “That you will call Me my husband And no longer call Me my Baal.
The Lord says, “In the future she will call me ‘my husband’; no longer will she call me ‘my baal [C “baal” can mean “husband,” “master,” or “Baal” (the Canaanite god); in this wordplay, Israel has replaced one husband (the Lord) with another (Baal)].’
“So then, I Myself will entice her, I will bring her into the wilderness and speak to her heart.
“And in that day, says the Lord, you will call me, ‘My husband,’ and no longer will you call me, ‘My Ba′al.’
“A new day is coming,” announces the Lord. “Israel will call me ‘my husband.’ She will no longer call me ‘my master.’
And it shall be at that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.
“But now I am going to woo her — I will bring her out to the desert and I will speak to her heart.
On that day, says the Lord, you will call me, ‘My husband’, and no longer will you call me, ‘My Baal’.
And it shall be in Yom Hahu, saith Hashem, that thou shalt call Me Ishi (my Husband); and shalt call Me no more Ba’ali.
“On that day she will call me her Ish,” declares Yahweh. “She will no longer call me her master.
On that day, declares the Lord, you will call Me, “My husband,” and will no longer call Me, “My Baal.”
This is what the Lord says. “At that time you will call me ‘My husband.’ You will not call me ‘My Baal.’
The Lord says, “Then she will call me ‘my husband.’ She will no longer call me ‘my baal.’
And on that day— a declaration of Yahweh— you will call me, “My husband;” you will no longer call me, “My Baal.”
‘In that day,’ declares the Lord, ‘you will call me “my husband”; you will no longer call me “my master”.
