But if that nation does what displeases me and does not obey me, then I will cancel the good I promised to do to it.

if it does evil in My sight by not obeying My voice, then I will think better of the good with which I had promised to bless it.

and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it.

but then that nation turns to evil and refuses to obey me, I will not bless it as I said I would.

If it shall do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, with which I said I would benefit them.

if they do that which is evil in my sight, that they not obey my voice, then I will repent of the good, with which I said I would benefit them.

But those people might start to do evil things. They might stop obeying me. Then I would not help them as I had promised to do.

And it hath done the evil thing in Mine eyes, So as not to hearken to My voice, Then I have repented of the good That I have spoken of doing to it.

and if it does what is sinful in My eyes by not obeying My voice, then I will change My mind about the good I had promised to bring to it.

but then it ignores My voice, thus committing evil right in front of Me, I will hold back the good I had planned for them.

but then that nation changes its mind, turns to evil, and refuses to obey me, then I, too, will change my mind and not bless that nation as I had said I would.

However, if that nation follows an evil path and refuses to obey me, then I will cease to bestow upon it the blessings that I had promised.

but if it does evil in My sight by not listening to My voice, then I will relent concerning the good which I promised, to do good to it.

but if it should do evil in my sight, not hearing my voice, then I will repent of the good that I had determined to do unto them.

However, if it does what is evil in my sight by not listening to me, I will relent concerning the good I had said I would do to it.

And if they do evil in My sight, obeying not My voice, then I will regret and reverse My decision concerning the good with which I said I would benefit them.

But if I see it doing evil by not obeying me, I will change my mind and not carry out my plans to do good for them.

Then God’s Message came to me: “Can’t I do just as this potter does, people of Israel?” God’s Decree! “Watch this potter. In the same way that this potter works his clay, I work on you, people of Israel. At any moment I may decide to pull up a people or a country by the roots and get rid of them. But if they repent of their wicked lives, I will think twice and start over with them. At another time I might decide to plant a people or country, but if they don’t cooperate and won’t listen to me, I will think again and give up on the plans I had for them.

but if they do what is evil in my sight by not listening to my voice, then I will not bring about the good I said I would do for them.

but if it does evil in my sight, not listening to my voice, then I will change my mind about the good that I had intended to do to it.

but then that nation disobeys me and does evil, I will not do what I said I would.

(But) If it doeth evil before mine eyes, (and) that it hear not my voice, (then) I shall do penance on the good which I spake, that I should do to it.

but if it behaves wickedly from my perspective and doesn’t listen to what I say, then I change my mind and don’t do the good I said I would do that would have helped it.
