Therefore thus said the LORD; Ask you now among the heathen, who has heard such things: the virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing.

“Therefore thus says the LORD: Ask among the nations, Who has heard the like of this? The virgin Israel has done a very horrible thing.

"This is what the LORD says: Ask among the nations if anyone has ever heard anything like this. The people of Israel have done a very horrible thing.

Therefore, this is what the LORD says: Ask among the nations, Who has heard things like these? Virgin Israel has done a most terrible thing.

"Therefore, this is what the LORD says: 'Ask the nations. Who has ever heard of anything like this? You have done a most horrible thing, virgin Israel.

Therefore, the LORD says, "Ask the people of other nations whether they have heard of anything like this. Israel should have been like a virgin. But she has done something utterly revolting!

"Therefore thus says the LORD, 'Ask now among the nations, Who ever heard the like of this? The virgin of Israel Has done a most appalling thing.

Therefore this is what the LORD says: "Inquire among the nations: Who has ever heard anything like this? A most horrible thing has been done by Virgin Israel.

So the Lord says this: ‘Go and ask the people of other nations! Have they ever heard about anything as terrible as this? My people, Israel, should have been pure. But they have done a disgusting thing!

Therefore, thus said Jehovah: Ask, I pray you, among the nations, Who hath heard like these? A very horrible thing hath the virgin of Israel done.

“So the Lord says, ‘Ask now among the nations: Who has heard such things? Pure Israel has done a very sinful thing.

Who has heard of such betrayal as this? Ask the nations around you. Even they won’t believe this dreadful thing the virgin Israel has done to Me.

Then the Lord said: Even among the heathen, no one has ever heard of such a thing! My people have done something too horrible to understand.

Therefore, thus says the Lord: Ask among the nations: Who has ever heard anything like this? The virgin Israel has done a truly horrible thing.

“Therefore thus says Yahweh, ‘Ask now among the nations, Who ever heard the like of this? The virgin of Israel Has done a most appalling thing.

Therefore thus hath the LORD said; Ask now among the Gentiles, who has heard such things: the virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing.

God’s Message: “Ask around. Survey the godless nations. Has anyone heard the likes of this? Virgin Israel has become a slut! Does snow disappear from the Lebanon peaks? Do alpine streams run dry? Therefore this is what the Lord says. Ask among the nations, “Who has ever heard anything like this?” Virgin Israel has done a most terrible thing.

The Lord says, “Ask every nation if such a thing has ever happened before. The people of Israel have done a terrible thing!

Therefore the Lord saith these things, Ask ye heathen men, who heard such horrible things, which the virgin of Israel hath done greatly? (And so the Lord saith these things, Ask ye the heathen, who hath heard of such a horrible thing, as that which the virgin of Israel hath done?)

So I, the Lord, command you to ask the nations, and find out if they have ever heard of such a horrible sin as what you have done.

“Therefore thus says Yahweh, ‘Please ask among the nations, “Who has heard the like of this?” The virgin of Israel has done something very horrible.

Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘Enquire among the nations: who has ever heard anything like this? A most horrible thing has been done by Virgin Israel.
