Because Israel's immorality mattered so little to her, she defiled the land and committed adultery with stone and wood.
Israel treated it all so lightly--she thought nothing of committing adultery by worshiping idols made of wood and stone. So now the land has been polluted.
And it came to pass through the lightness of her lewdness, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
It happened through the lightness of her prostitution, that the land was polluted, and she committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
She was not ashamed of what she was doing. She worshipped idols made of wood and stone. She made the land unclean because she was not faithful to me.
And it hath come to pass, from the vileness of her fornication, that the land is defiled, and she committeth fornication with stone and with wood.
And because this sin was so easy for her, she sinned by worshiping stones and trees.
In fact, because her own infidelity bothered her so little, she defiled the land by committing adultery, worshiping stones and trees instead of Me.

So it was, because of the lightness of her harlotry, that she polluted the land and committed adultery with stones and trees.
And it came to pass through her judging her whoredom to be a light thing that the land became defiled and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
Indifferent to her prostitution, she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and trees.
And through the infamy and unseemly frivolity of Israel’s whoredom [because her immorality mattered little to her], she polluted and defiled the land, [by her idolatry] committing adultery with [idols of] stones and trees.
And she didn’t care that she was acting like a prostitute. So she made her country unclean and was guilty of adultery, because she worshiped idols made of stone and wood.
God spoke to me during the reign of King Josiah: “You have noticed, haven’t you, how fickle Israel has visited every hill and grove of trees as a whore at large? I assumed that after she had gotten it out of her system, she’d come back, but she didn’t. Her flighty sister, Judah, saw what she did. She also saw that because of fickle Israel’s loose morals I threw her out, gave her her walking papers. But that didn’t faze flighty sister Judah. She went out, big as you please, and took up a whore’s life also. She took up cheap sex-and-religion as a sideline diversion, an indulgent recreation, and used anything and anyone, flouting sanity and sanctity alike, stinking up the country. And not once in all this did flighty sister Judah even give me a nod, although she made a show of it from time to time.” God’s Decree.
Since Israel regarded her sexual sins so lightly, she defiled the land by committing adultery with stones and trees.
Because she took her whoredom so lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.
and was not at all ashamed. She defiled the land, and she committed adultery by worshiping stones and trees.
And by lightness of her fornication she defouled the earth, and did adultery with a stone, and with a tree. (And with the indifference of her fornication she defiled the land, and did idolatry with a stone, and with a piece of wood.)
The kingdom of Judah wasn't sorry for being a prostitute, and she didn't care that she had made both herself and the land unclean by worshiping idols of stone and wood.
Because harlotry was so light to her, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.
Because she took her prostitution so lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.
Because she took her whoredom so lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.
She didn’t think twice about corrupting the land and committing adultery with stone and tree.
Because of the thoughtlessness of Israel’s prostitution [her immorality mattered little to her], she desecrated the land and committed adultery with [idols of] stones and trees.
Because she took her whoredom lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.
With her casual prostitution, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and wood.
And because of the thoughtlessness of her prostitution, she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and trees.
And she didn’t care that she was acting like a prostitute. So she made her country ·unclean [defiled; polluted; C in a ritual sense] and was guilty of adultery with stone and wood [C by worshiping idols made of these materials].
It happened that through her frivolous prostitution, she polluted the land and committed adultery with stones and with wood.
Because harlotry was so light to her, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.
Israel was not faithful to me, but that did not bother them at all. They made the land ‘unclean.’ They worshiped gods that were made out of stone and wood.
And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
The ease with which Isra’el prostituted herself defiled the land, as she committed adultery with stones and with logs.
Because she took her whoredom so lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.
And it came to pass through the lightness with which she [Yisroel] took her zenut (whoredom), that she defiled HaAretz, and committed adultery with HaEven (the Stone [of the fertility cult of Ba’al worship]) and with HaEtz (the Wood [of the fertility cult of Ba’al worship]).
Because she wasn’t concerned about acting like a prostitute, she polluted the land and committed adultery with standing stones and wood pillars.
Through the lightness of her harlotry she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and with trees.
Judah did not care that she was acting like a prostitute. So she made her country ‘dirty.’ She committed the sin of adultery by worshiping idols made out of stone and wood.
And she didn’t care that she was acting like a prostitute. So she made her country unclean. She was guilty of adultery. This was because she worshiped idols made of stone and wood.
And it was because of the frivolity of her fornication that she defiled the land and committed adultery with the stone and with the tree.
Because Israel’s immorality mattered so little to her, she defiled the land and committed adultery with stone and wood.
