Therefore thus said the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:

Yes, I will give this city to the Babylonians and to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon; he shall conquer it.

Therefore, thus says the Lord: I intend to hand over this city to the Chaldeans and to Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and he will take it.

So this is what the Lord says: I will soon hand over the city of Jerusalem to the Babylonian army and to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will capture it.

Then God’s Message came again to Jeremiah: “Stay alert! I am God, the God of everything living. Is there anything I can’t do? So listen to God’s Message: No doubt about it, I’m handing this city over to the Babylonians and Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. He’ll take it. The attacking Chaldeans will break through and burn the city down: All those houses whose roofs were used as altars for offerings to Baal and the worship of who knows how many other gods provoked me. It isn’t as if this were the first time they had provoked me. The people of Israel and Judah have been doing this for a long time—doing what I hate, making me angry by the way they live.” God’s Decree.

Therefore, this is what the Lord says. Watch, I am going to hand over this city to the Chaldeans and to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will capture it.

Therefore, thus says the Lord: I am going to give this city into the hands of the Chaldeans and into the hand of King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon, and he shall take it.

I am going to give this city over to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia and his army; they will capture it

Therefore the Lord saith these things, Lo! I shall betake this city into the hands of Chaldees, and into the hand of (Nebuchadnezzar,) the king of Babylon, and he shall take it. I shall deliver this city into the hands of the Chaldeans, and into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and he shall take it/and he shall capture it.)

It is true that I am going to let King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia capture Jerusalem.
