For thus said the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil on this people, so will I bring on them all the good that I have promised them.

"Indeed, this is what the LORD says: 'Just as I'm bringing all this great disaster on this people, so I'll bring on them all the good things that I'm promising concerning them.

"For I, the LORD, say: 'I will surely bring on these people all the good fortune that I am hereby promising them. I will be just as sure to do that as I have been in bringing all this great disaster on them.

"For thus says the LORD, 'Just as I brought all this great disaster on this people, so I am going to bring on them all the good that I am promising them.

"This is what the LORD says: As I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will give them all the prosperity I have promised them.

"This is what the LORD says: Just as I have brought all these calamities on them, so I will do all the good I have promised them.

For thus saith the LORD; As I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

For thus says Yahweh: Like as I have brought all this great evil on this people, so will I bring on them all the good that I have promised them.

The Lord says this: ‘It is true that I have brought terrible trouble to this people. But in the same way, I will give them all the good things that I have promised.

`For thus said Jehovah: As I brought in unto this people all this great evil, so I am bringing in on them all the good that I am speaking concerning them;

For the Lord says, ‘Just as I brought all this trouble on these people, so I am going to bring all the good on them that I have promised them.

This is what I, the Eternal, declare: Just as I brought this great disaster upon My people, so will I do all these good things I have promised to them.

Just as I have sent all these terrors and evils upon them, so will I do all the good I have promised them.

For thus says the Lord: Just as I afflicted this people with such great calamity, so I will grant them all the good things I have promised them.

For thus says Yahweh, ‘Just as I brought all this great evil on this people, so I am going to bring on them all the good that I am promising them.

For thus hath the LORD said; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I speak regarding them.

“For this is what the Lord says: Just as I have brought all this terrible disaster on these people, so am I about to bring on them all the good I am promising them.

For thus says the Lord: As I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

This is what the Lord says: “I have brought this great disaster to the people of Israel and Judah. In the same way I will bring the good things that I promise to do for them.

“Yes, this is God’s Message: ‘I will certainly bring this huge catastrophe on this people, but I will also usher in a wonderful life of prosperity. I promise. Fields are going to be bought here again, yes, in this very country that you assume is going to end up desolate—gone to the dogs, unlivable, wrecked by the Babylonians. Yes, people will buy farms again, and legally, with deeds of purchase, sealed documents, proper witnesses—and right here in the territory of Benjamin, and in the area around Jerusalem, around the villages of Judah and the hill country, the Shephelah and the Negev. I will restore everything that was lost.’ God’s Decree.”

This is what the Lord says. Just as surely as I brought this great catastrophe on this people, so I will be the one to bring them all the good that I have promised them.

For thus says the Lord: Just as I have brought all this great disaster upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good fortune that I now promise them.

“Just as I have brought this disaster on these people, so I am going to give them all the good things that I have promised.

For the Lord saith these things, As I brought on this people all this great evil, so I shall bring on them all the good (things), which I shall speak to them (that I have promised them).

Even though I have brought disaster on the people, I will someday do all these good things for them.

“For thus says the Lord: Just as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good that I promise them.

For thus says the Lord: Just as I have brought all this great disaster upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good fortune that I now promise them.
