"This is what the LORD says: Suppose I hadn't made an arrangement with day and night or made laws for heaven and earth.

This is what the LORD says: If I do not keep My covenant with the day and with the night and fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,

This is what the LORD says: 'If I had not established my covenant for day and night and the laws that govern the heavens and earth,

But I, the LORD, make the following promise: I have made a covenant governing the coming of day and night. I have established the fixed laws governing heaven and earth.

"Thus says the LORD, 'If My covenant for day and night stand not, and the fixed patterns of heaven and earth I have not established,

This is what the LORD says: 'If I have not made my covenant with day and night and established the laws of heaven and earth,

But this is what the LORD says: I would no more reject my people than I would change my laws that govern night and day, earth and sky.

Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

Thus says Yahweh: If my covenant of day and night fails, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

But I promise you this: Nobody can stop the agreement that I have made with the day and the night. I have also commanded the earth and the sky to obey certain laws.

Thus said Jehovah: If My covenant [is] not daily and nightly, The statutes of heaven and earth I have not appointed --

This is what the Lord says: ‘If I do not keep My agreement with day and night and the laws of heaven and earth,

But again, this is what the Eternal promises: “Just as I am not about to stop ruling the universe with fixed laws so that the day and the night become confused,

But this is the Lord’s reply: I would no more reject my people than I would change my laws of night and day, of earth and sky. I will never abandon the Jews, or David my servant, or change the plan that his child will someday rule these descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Instead I will restore their prosperity and have mercy on them.

Thus says the Lord: If I had not established my covenant with day and night and fixed the laws governing heaven and earth,

Thus hath the LORD said: If my covenant remains not with the day and the night, and if I have not appointed the laws of the heaven and the earth,

This is what the Lord says: If I do not keep my covenant with the day and with the night, and if I fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,

Thus says the Lord: If My covenant with day and night does not stand, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of the heavens and the earth [the whole order of nature],

This is what the Lord says: “If I had not made my agreement with day and night, and if I had not made the laws for the sky and earth,

“Well, here’s God’s response: ‘If my covenant with day and night wasn’t in working order, if sky and earth weren’t functioning the way I set them going, then, but only then, you might think I had disowned the descendants of Jacob and of my servant David, and that I wouldn’t set up any of David’s descendants over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But as it is, I will give them back everything they’ve lost. The last word is, I will have mercy on them.’”

The Lord says: If I have not established my covenant with day and night, or the ordinances of heaven and earth,

Thus says the Lord: Only if I had not established my covenant with day and night and the ordinances of heaven and earth,

But I, the Lord, have a covenant with day and night, and I have made the laws that control earth and sky.

The Lord saith these things, If I setted not my covenant betwixt day and night, and if I setted not laws to heaven and earth; (But the Lord saith these things, If I had not made my covenant between day and night, and if I had not made my laws in the heavens and on the earth;)

Jeremiah, I will never break my agreement with the day and the night or let the sky and the earth stop obeying my commands.

This is what the Lord says: “If I had not made my ·agreement [covenant; treaty] with day and night [v. 20], and if I had not made the ·laws [statutes; ordinances; requirements] for the ·sky [heavens] and earth,

Thus says Adonai: “If I have not made My covenant of day and night firm, and the fixed patterns ordering the heavens and earth,

Thus says the Lord: If I have not established my covenant with day and night and the ordinances of heaven and earth,

I say, ‘What if I had not made my covenant with day and night? What if I had not established the laws of heaven and earth?
